This time you’ll learn a simple recipe to make a gorgeous Korilakkuma apple cake that even novice cooks can follow!
1: Ingredients
15cm cake tin (you can also use a loaf tin or smaller tin to cook individual ones)
100g weak flour
5g baking powder
60g unsalted butter
80g sugar
2 eggs (small or medium)
1 apple
10 walnuts
Cinnamon sugar (to taste)
Preparation
・Thinly slice the apples and squeeze over lemon juice. Cut 2-3 to the slices into a Korilakkuma shape.
・Roughly chop up the walnuts.
・If you don’t have cinnamon sugar, mix together one tsp of cinnamon with 1/4 cup of sugar.
・Combine the weak flour and baking powder and sieve.
Melt the butter over a bain-marie.
2: Separate the egg yolks and whites. Thoroughly whisk the egg whites. Combine with the egg yolks, add the flour and mix.
3: Stir the mix in step 2 well. Add the melted butter in the places where it looks like there’s some flour left and mix.
Add the mix to your cake tin and add your sliced apples that you prepared (but not the Rilakkuma shaped pieces).
4: Place the walnuts all over the mix.
5: Sprinkle over cinnamon sugar.
Cook in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 20-25 minutes, then add the Korilakkuma apple slices and cook for a further 5-10 minutes.
6: If you cut a good shape of Korilakkuma out with your apple then leave it as it is. If the shape didn’t turn out well, cut out a white chocolate Korilakkuma and place it over the apple.
7: Draw the facial features with a chocolate pen.
Once the apple cake is done, decorate all of your Rilakkuma, and you’re done.
The moist cake goes together perfectly with the apple, walnuts and cinnamon sugar! It’s delicious eaten fresh, but its level of moistness increases if you eat it the next day.

Kaori’s easy recipe – Learn how to make “Rilakkuma Toast.”
With just a small bit of ingenuity, turn everyday food into something cute using Kaori’s recipe series! With a few simple ideas, an ordinary recipe magically transforms into a cute dish.
This time, let us introduce to you, “Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, Kiiroi Tori no Rittai Toast.”
■1: Ingredients
・Slice of white bread ×2
・Slice of black-sugar bread ×1
・Sliced cheese ×1
・Cheder Sliced cheese ×1
・Chocolate Sheet ×1
・Sliced ham ×1
・Mini tomato ×3
・Using the “Rilakkuma no Rittai Shokupan” cookie cutter cut out the shapes from the slices of bread
・Cut shapes out for the eyes (you can use a straw)
※Squash powder - half a table spoon
※Milk - one table spoon
※Sugar – 2 pinches
(※are ingredients for the squash cream)
☆How to make squash cream
・Warm up milk and sugar together in a microwave for ten seconds and mix it with the squash powder little by little. Don’t put the milk in all at once or it will form clumps.
2: Place the cookie cutter on top of the slice of bread as shown in the picture and punch out the shape.
3: Punch out the three slices as shown in the picture.
4: Cut a line on top of the head using a knife.
5: Cut out the ears using one of the slices of bread in line with the head using scissors. (This slice of bread will be used to make “Kiiroi tori.”)
6: Apply the squash cream on top of the slice of bread which was cut out in step 5.
7: Using the round mouth section of the Rilakkuma cookie cutter which you used in steps 2 and 3, cut out shapes from the cheese.
8: Cut out shapes from the slice of cheddar cheese to make shapes to put inside Rilakkuma’s ears and to make Kiiroi tori’s mouth. Cut out shapes to put inside Korilakkuma’s ears from the slice of ham. Cut out shapes from the chocolate sheet to form the eyes, nose and mouth. First make a mark on the chocolate sheet using the cookie cutter and then cut the shape out using the end of a toothpick. To make Kiiroi tori’s nose holes, tear off a bit of the chocolate sheet and roll it into a ball shape.
9: Place the parts as shown in the picture using the leftover squash cream and a little bit of mayonnaise.
10: Place the sections cut out in step 4 on top of each other. Lean the face on the other parts so as to make the face 3-dimentional.
11: Put a mini tomato between the hands so it looks like they are carrying the tomato.
Done!

After coloring each character, divide the white rice and the mentsuyu-flavored rice into two pieces (10g per piece).
Put rice into the gacha gacha capsule.
50g→base
50g→face
10g×2→ears
(the quantity noted above can be changed)
☆Pack the rice into the capsule tightly so that the rice will not crumble
3:Round out the rice (10g piece) as shown in the photo.
4:It should look like this. (refer to the photo)
5:
Rillakuma and Korillakumas’ mouths→sliced cheese
Kiiroi Tori’s mouth→Cheder cheese
Rilakkuma’s ears→Cheder cheese
Korilakkuma’s ears→ham

Kaori’s easy recipe – learn how to make “Rilakkuma Henshin Halloween Plate!”
With just a small bit of ingenuity, turn everyday food into something cute using Kaori’s recipe series! With a few simple ideas, an ordinary recipe magically transforms into a cute dish.
This time, I will introduce to you “Rilakkuma Henshin Halloween Plate.”
1: Ingredients
Rice / 180g
Mentsuyu (Japanese noodle soup / half a cup
Slice cheese / two slices
Cheddar slice cheese / one slice
Thinly sliced ham / one slice
Seaweed / 1/2 sheet
Sausages / two
2: Make Rillakuma-colored rice (90g) by adding and mixing mentsuyu with the cooked rice. Mix it in well so all the rice is the same color.
3: Mentsuyu rice→Rilakkuma
White rice→Korilakkuma
Separate the rice into two groups, one to make the face (80g) , and the other to make the ears (5g). Use saran wrap to form the rice into the correct shape.
4: Boil the sausages.
Cut the slice cheese (5mm) and roll it at an angle on the sausage.
When you roll the cheese, melt the cheese with your hand’s heat and attach to the sausage so that the cheese will look like the bandage of a mummy.
Place the cheese cut in a circle on top of the blank space and place the seaweed on top of the circular cheese. This will become the eyes.
5: Fix the ears using fried pasta (refer to “Purin Chan no Milk Pudding”). Attach the cheese to the mouth and ears and make the eyes and mouth by using the seaweed. As in step 4, complete Rilakkuma by using the slice cheese and placing the parts so everything is balanced.
6: Place a hat on Korilakkuma using the seaweed
Cut the seaweed like in the photo. If the seaweed sticks up hold it down and into place by using some saran wrap.
After attaching the seaweed, fix the ears using fried pasta. In the same way as you did for Rilakkuma, make the eyes and mouth with seaweed and ears with sliced ham. Use a toothpick to cut the slice of cheddar cheese. This will for the head parts of the pumpkin. Now, place this on top of the hat.
Voila! It is now complete. The combination of mentsuyu rice and cheese is fantastic, isn’t it? This is a great recipe to use at a Halloween party or a Halloween bento box.

“Character ‘bento’ box lunch” recipe! A rice ball of Rilakkuma turned into a Japanese-Hina Doll
With just a small bit of ingenuity, turn everyday food into something cute using Kaori's recipe series! With a few simple ideas, an ordinary recipe magically transforms into a cute dish.
“Hinamatsuri” is a festival in Japan which is held on the 3rd of March to wish for the health and happiness of a girl child and each house displays a set of Hina Dolls on the 3rd March.
In this article, I will introduce to you how to make “Rilakkuma Ohinasama ni Henshin! Onigiri (rice ball)”
1:Ingredients
Rice – 200g
Yakiniku no Tare (Japanese BBQ sauce)
Seaweed
Sliced ham
Cheddar cheese
Sliced cheese
Satsumaage (deep-fried ball of fish paste)
Kinusaya (snow peas)
Seaweed cutout
2: Separate the rice in half and add “yakiniku no tare” (1 tablespoon) to one of the halves and mix. Shape the rice like an egg and place it on top of some plastic wrap until it gets cold.
☆You can use “mentsuyu” (noodle soup) instead of “yakiniku no tare.”
3: Cut out the satsuma age as shown in the photo to make the ears of Rilakkuma by cutting it out.
Take off the thin part of the satsuma age and cutout the white part to make the parts of Korilakkuma. Use the leftover satsuma age to make the round-shaped hands.
4: Make the other parts. Use the kinusaya to make the hat and rod and use sliced ham to make the crown and fan. Use cheder cheese and sliced ham to make the inside of the ears.
5:Wrap the seaweed on the rice ball as shown in the photo. Use sliced ham for Korilakkuma’s rice ball. This time, I also used frill lettuce as shown in the photo.
Arrange the shape of the bottom line of the ham/lettuce to make it look like a kimono.
6: Fix the hat, rod, crown and fan with fried pasta. Finished!
Let’s make hinamatsuri-rice balls and put them into a “bento” lunch box.

Kaori’s Easy Recipe – Learn How to Make “Rilakkuma Tear & Share Bread”
With just a small bit of ingenuity, turn everyday food into something cute using Kaori’s recipe series! With a few simple ideas, an ordinary recipe magically transforms into a cute dish.
In this recipe, you'll learn how to make cute tear & share bread of the character Rilakkuma!
First, you'll need to make a pack out of a milk carton for the mix later.
1. Open up a milk carton that you have washed and cut it into a cylindrical shape.
2. Staple together your pieces from Step 1.
3. Now, staple them together into a square that measures about 10-12cm.
4. Wrap with aluminium foil.
☆これを2つ作り型はOKです
Now, onto making the bread!
1: Ingredients
240g strong flour
5g dried yeast
15g sugar
3g salt
5g cocoa powder
60g unsalted butter
1 egg
75-80ml lukewarm water
2: Put the strong flour, dried yeast, salt and sugar into a bowl.
☆If the salt (塩) and yeast (イースト) are put side by side it will be difficult for the mix to rise to keep them separate.
Mix the lukewarm water and egg together.
Aim at the yeast and pour into the mix, then stir with a wooden spatula until it's no longer floury.
3: Take out the flour once it's at a point where it's no longer floury, add the unsalted butter and knead with your hands.
4: Once your dough in Step 3 is mixed together, split the mix in half, and roll one of those halves as it is into a ball. With the other half, mix it bit by bit with the cocoa powder that has been dissolved in the lukewarm water and shape into a ball. Leave them to rise for 40 minutes.
Once they have risen, divide both the plain mix and cocoa mix into 4 pieces (my pieces weighed 53g).
☆The amount of grams will change depending on the way you have kneaded it and the temperature, so it's better to divide them into 4 after having measured their weight.
Make ears from your 4 divided pieces (2g each).
Once you've finished diving each part, line them up like in the photograph to set aside for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, put them into the pack you made in the beginning.
☆Don't put on the ears yet.
Once they're in, leave them to rise again for another 30 minutes before on the ears.
5: Once you've completed everything in Step 4, place them into a preheated oven at 180℃ then lower the temperature to 150℃ and cook for about 7-minutes.
After that, so they don't take on a brown colour, take off the aluminium foil and cook for a further 10-minutes.
6: Leave to cool down completely, draw on the faces with a chocolate pen, and you're all done♡
In this recipe I made the bread with 2 different kinds of batter, but you can make it with just plain if you like and it'll be plenty kawaii.
If you wrap them with a ribbon they make a perfect present!
