the GazettE’s New Album ‘NINTH’ Ranks Tops iTunes Charts Around the World

Visual kei veterans the GazettE released their new album NINTH on June 13, 2018 to huge success, clocking in at number one on the iTunes charts across 14 countries in the rock and J-pop categories. It also ranked in the top 10 for the same categories on iTunes in 27 countries including Japan.

the GazettE has completed two world tours to date and maintains a dedicated fan base across the world including in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. NINTH is the band’s first release in almost 3 years. When news of the album dropped, they received offers for a worldwide release, which resulted in the record hitting 109 countries.

    the GazettE have delivered a Halloween gift for international fans this year. The band have released the live footage of their concerts at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo held on October 30 and 31 in 2017 as part of their tour HALLOWEEN NIGHT 17 THE DARK HORROR SHOW SPOOKY BOX 2 Abyss/LUCY, a 4-concert tour which took the band to Tokyo and Osaka.     the GazettE begun "Phase #01 - Phenomenon" of their 2018 live tour "THE NINTH" in promotion of their latest album NINTH which was released on June 13, 2018.   The first stop the band hit was Misato City Cultural Hall in Saitama Prefecture where they performed two shows in a row on July 19 and 20. The first day of the tour saw a packed out venue. As fans waited for the performance to start the beautiful instrumental piece 99.999 from their newest album began to play, upon which everyone was basked in flood of wild lights. It was at this point the band walked onto stage.   Their set lasted an enticing 22 songs including the encore and a string of new tracks from NINTH. The first phase of the tour will wrap up at Kanagawa Kenmin Hall on September 4. The band will then move onto phase two of the tour, titled "Enhancement." This was announced at the end of their show on July 19. They also released a promotional video on their YouTube channel below.

    the GazettE are about to tear the stage apart with their speaker-ripping tunes in a whopping 11 countries, starting this April.

    Five-piece visual-kei rock outfit, the GazettE, is a band that’s impossible to miss when flipping through the J-visual-kei catalogue (note they easily fills a 55,000-seater venue), — so it’s no wonder they’re making rounds at some of the most respected venues in America, Europe and Asia starting this spring. They’ve got 16 dates gorgeously lined up for fans from all over the world, including a performance at one of Paris’s largest venues: Le Zenith, as well as New York’s PlayStation Theater, the Taipei International Convention Centre and more, spanning across 11 countries.

    In 2015, they uncovered their first move with PROJECT:DARK AGE, which consisted the release of their album DOGMA, which was produced in collaboration with 18 creative professionals across the fashion, design, photography, sound, film and stage industries. Needless to say, the album won great international success, achieving top ten positions in 18 iTunes charts across 15 Europe countries, and #1 in five.
