Hatomugi is a popular ASMR artist (commonly known as ASMRtist) on YouTube who just announced that she will release her first ever ASMR album titled Ato Atsume on September 19, 2018.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and refers to the bodily response to certain visual and audio triggers that results in a pleasant tingling sensation. Triggering ASMR has become an online phenomenon with people building entire YouTube channels around it.

Whispering is one of the most popular forms of audio ‘triggering’ and serves to relax the listener and even send them to sleep. Other popular triggers include tapping or scratching certain objects.

Hatomugi is a very popular name in the Japanese ASMR community and she has gained a large following of overseas fans too. She first opened her channel in 2015 and has gone on to make videos that have garnered millions of views each. She creates many sounds and is noted for her whispering voice.

Her new CD Ato Atsume contains 28 sounds which have been newly recorded. Each and every sound is compact and focused and has a relaxing effect. You could listen to it on the way to school or work, but make sure you don’t fall asleep and miss your stop!

The CD cover features Hatomugi’s iconic cat character. The album will also include special stickers of the cat.
