5-piece Japanese rock band Survive Said The Prophet have announced a new album titled s p a c e [ s ] slated for release on September 26.
This is the first album to come from the band since their hit record WABI SABI (2017). It includes the songs NE:ONE which is used as the main theme song for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Emperor and found & lost which is being used as the opening theme song for the ongoing anime series BANANA FISH.
Kris Crummett once again serves as the producer for the new album which was recorded in the US. It is the band’s first album since their label change to Sony Music Records.
Additionally, the band will hold an event titled “Survive Said The Prophet VR EXPERIENCE” at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on September 7, a one-night experience that combines virtual reality and interactivity with a music video.
The event is being held for fans unable to attend the band’s live shows for whatever reason. Entry is free but you must apply by 6:00pm on August 26. Attendees will be randomly selected from applications.
The band will embark on tour entitled s p a c e [ s ] TOUR 2018-19 to promote their new album which will begin on October 5 at Toyohashi Club KNOT and wrap up next year on February 3 at Tokyo Mynavi Blitz Akasaka. They will be joined by a guest act who have yet to be announced. The third wave of early bird tickets are available to purchase until August 19 at 11:59pm.
