The second season of Tokyo Ghoul:re is scheduled to begin airing in October 2018. It has been announced that österreich will perform the ending theme song entitled Rakuen no Kimi. Cö shu Nie provided the opening theme song Asphyxia for the first season while Ziyoou-Vachi performed the ending theme song HALF. österreich, who will sing the ending theme for the second season, is the solo project of ex-guitarist for the cabs, Kunimitsu Takahashi. österreich originally performed Tokyo Ghoul √A's opening theme song Munou as well as the main theme for the PS Vita game Tokyo Ghoul: Jail, making this the artist's third collaboration with the series.   Kunimitsu Takahashi left a comment on the official Tokyo Ghoul:re website which you can read translated below.   österreich's CommentI'm back here once again again.   The music I became involved with for the second time three years ago was for Tokyo Ghoul. After that I wrote music which not everybody could necessarily listen to while leading a reckless life as ever, but one day when I came to I was surrounded by a scene similar to that time three years ago. What was different was that after Tokyo Ghoul finished airing I became friend with Ishida [the manga's author].   I don't really remember how I wrote the song 'Munou,' but I think I probably wrote it on my own wherever my feelings led me. Time has passed, and I thought I wasn't skillful enough to be able to manage doing things perfectly that way again, and I never thought I would want to.   I have come to see that some things change and some don't. I've found myself in empty places. If we're talking about how I've become, speaking honestly, I'm still a hopeless person, but I feel like I've been able to think about someone and create music, even just a little.   I've live being saved by lots of people. I was saved by lots of people and wrote the song Rakuen no Kimi. Up and coming artist ReoNa is the singing voice actress of Elsa Kanzaki from the anime series Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online which aired from April 8 to June 30 this year. The singer’s debut mini album ELZA which debuted under the name “Kanzaki Elza Starring ReoNa” was released on July 4, coming in at 8^th on Oricon’s Weekly Album Rankings and 2^nd on their Weekly Digital Album Rankings. Since her debut she has continued to make her mark in the music industry. ReoNa’s debut single SWEET HURT serves as the ending theme for the ongoing anime series Happy Sugar Life. It was released as her first single on August 29. Fans showcased their desire in wanting to hear ReoNa’s voice in high resolution audio which shot the release to no. 1 on mora’s High Resolution Weekly Rankings. The single is coupled with the song Canary which was used as an insert song in episode 9 of Happy Sugar Life which aired on September 7. It left an impression with fans of the original manga as it was used in a very important scene. Red Swan, the opening theme for the new season of anime series Attack on Titan, was showcased on YOSHIKI CHANNEL on July 20 where it was announced the song would be released officially under the artist name YOSHIKI feat. Hyde instead of the previous X Japan feat. Hyde. On the show, both members expressed their consideration for all the fans while explaining the song was still in production. They said they had a lot of choices at their disposal when making the song, and although it took a lot of time due to traffic regulation, it turned out to be an amazing song. The complete track will be released on August 2018. Yoshiki spoke about Red Swan which came to life during a bout of hardships. "How do we move forward in this world? What's that extra oomph that's needed when making the best song ever, or the best album? That's what I'm thinking frantically. How long can I fight for in this life? When will the time come when I can say myself, 'You've done well'?"   Red Swan appeared on the show ahead of the anime's broadcast as well as on Yoshiki's official Instagram page. He also surprised fans with a piano performance of the song as well as expressed his gratitude to the X Japan members, Hyde, and the production team behind Attack on Titan.

  The moment Yoshiki posted the clip on his Instagram page, fans flooded the comment section, expressing their happiness for him reconfirming his love for the members, being touched by his gratitude towards Hyde, being moved by him taking it upon himself to take full responsibility for worrying people, and so on.   The third season of Attack on Titan began airing on July 22.
