15-year-old Japanese singer RUANN has drawn much attention on YouTube and social media over the past year. She performed the second ending theme for season two of anime series March Comes in Like a Lion back in January this year.

Now, the young artist’s new song There’s No Ending will be used as the main theme for Anemone: Psalm of Planets Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution, the second in a planned trilogy of film adaptations of the Eureka Seven anime series. The song was released digitally, and an all-new animated music video for the song just dropped on her official YouTube channel.

The song used in the video is a specially made version of the original track. The video features the young Anemone her final days spent with her father along with scenes together with her childhood friend Dominic. We also see the sudden appearance of Eureka.

The new film will feature Nirvish X, the largest mecha in the franchise to date, and will be set in Tokyo for the first time. It will center on Anemone who must defeat the seventh Eureka, “Eureka Seven,” an enemy to humanity that has killed 2.6 billion people.

RUANN’s song There’s No Ending expresses the hope within Anemone’s anxieties she feels in her loneliness.
