Hi, everyone. I’m Minimaru, and I work at the MOSHI MOSHI BOX Harajuku Tourist Information Center.
What do you eat for breakfast? Toast? Onigiri? It’s easy to end up eating the same thing every morning, isn’t it? Have you tried eating breakfast from another country?
That’s what this article is about. Today I would like to introduce to you all World Breakfast Allday.
There are in fact two branches of World Breakfast Allday. I visited the new one which opened between Harajuku and Shibuya earlier this year.
To get there, make a right at Flamingo, the second-hand clothing store in Omotesando that faces KIDDY LAND. Head straight down there and you’ll see a tapioca shop called Gong Cha. Head past there and make a left at the Family Mart convenience store.
You’ll come to see a post office. Continue heading in the direction of the post office.
Then you’ll see a cafe. Make a right and head straight down.
You’ll eventually come to a pale yellow coloured building on the left hand side of the path. That’s World Breakfast Allday!
It can be a difficult place to find for first-timers, so if you get lost or need help getting there than come and find us at the MOSHI MOSHI BOX. We’ll be happy to help!
The yellow exterior of the cafe gives it a relaxing first impression. Music plays inside from different countries so it felt like stepping into another world. The cafe also has window seats so you can see outside.
I wanted to chill and enjoy my breakfast while looking at the scenery outdoors so I sat at one of the window seats.
There’s also wide table seats inside.
This is the menu. They also serve a range of limited edition items that change every two months. There’s so much food to choose from!
Once you’ve decided on what you want you can order at the counter.
The counter is super cute and there’s also an open kitchen in the back where you can see food being made.
I ordered the American breakfast which came with pancakes, bacon, sunny side up eggs and potatoes. It also comes with honey to drizzle over your pancakes. The food was so delicious it made me feel happy in the morning.
World Breakfast Allday is a place that lets you feel like you’re somewhere outside Japan. If you’re in Harajuku in the morning or doing a bit of shopping then be sure to give it a visit.

I find there's a surprisingly large number of people who want to go to a stylish cafe having made the effort to come to Harajuku but aren't any good with sweet things like desserts. A lot of Harajuku's photo-worthy treats and desserts are packed with cream and such and are super sweet, so it can be difficult inviting someone out who isn't a sweet tooth. So I want to recommend W/O STAND HARAJUKU to those people, a fancy coffee stand in Ura-Harajuku. Let's go!
You will find it behind the MOSHI MOSHI BOX diagonally opposite the 7-Eleven along Tonchan Dori - or Tonchan Street. Look for the grass plot, that's your landmark. Continue down this road to the end. You will come across a small sign. The neon guy is your final landmark - that's when you know you've arrived. Upon entering there is cool music playing. The decor is very simple but sophisticated. It's a completely different and more mature atmosphere compared to Takeshita Street. You can order for takeout or enjoy your coffee indoors. The counter even has electrical outlets so you don't have to worry about your battery dying. (Just so you know, the MOSHI MOSHI BOX has outlets you can use too! And Wi-Fi!) I ordered the caramel macchiato. You mix together the coffee the lady brings to you yourself, but the two layers before you mix looks cute so I ended up snapping a photo. The sticker of the old guy is cute too. Every month they sell different coffees that look like desserts too. Hi, everyone, it's Midori here from the MOSHI MOSHI BOX Harajuku Tourist Information Center! Harajuku is currently experiencing an unprecedented South Korean boom! The number of South Korean idol shops and South Korean desserts and sweets is on a rapid increase. One of these places goes by the name Cafe Yolum and it's located opposite Harajuku Station! The name comes from the Korean word for 'summer.' To find it, exit from Harajuku Station's Takeshita Exit and head left down the path.
Keep going straight until you see the pink sign below. The cafe is located on the second floor of the building. There's a ramen restaurant next to it called Seiya (せい家) - use this as your landmark. Head upstairs... ...and you'll find the pink door! The whole cafe is decked out in pink, it's really cute! There's even a neon sign with the cafe's name written in Korean. Neon signs are really popular on Instagram. To order, you need to use the pink ticket machine. First up, I bought myself a bottled drink! I ordered the most popular one - milk tea with jelly. You get a heart-shaped straw with the drink. It's really tasty and not overly sweet! The jelly is a lot softer compared to tapioca. It doesn't get in the way of the milk tea. Plus, it's cute! Next I ordered hotteok, a type of Korean filled pancake! It comes wrapped in paper, but when you open it up the pancake has the Yolum mark on it written in Korean! The pancake is filled with red bean paste. It's a milk taste. If you have any drink left over they put it in one of their own bags for you! It's fun to take your drink with you shopping along Takeshita Stree too. They also introduced South Korean cuisine for lunch on October 18!

Hi, everyone, it’s Midori here from the MOSHI MOSHI BOX. Autumn is here! Since it’s gotten cooler it’s nice to sit inside a warm café, but I recommend going for a picnic lunch too. Today I want to show you a stylish bakery called The Little BAKERY Tokyo that I visited The bakery is located between Shibuya Station and Harajuku Station.
To get there, first turn left at Flamingo (フラミンゴ), a used clothes store in Omotesando on the side of KIDDY LAND. After a short walk you’ll see a tapioca shop called Goncha (ゴンチャ). There’s a Family Mart through there. Turn left and head down the path. You’ll come to a forked road where you’ll need to turn right. It’s in the direction of the post office! You’ll come to a café – turn right again. After another short walk you’ll see a hamburger shop called The Great Burger, and beside it The Little BAKERY Tokyo! It might be a task getting there if it’s your first time. If you get lost then come and see us in the MOSHI MOSHI BOX and we’ll help you out! Both The Little BAKERY Tokyo and The Great Burger are affiliated businesses. They’re both American and are cute inside! The cheesecakes, sandwiches and everything are wrapped adorably. All the pastries are cute too – where do you even start? The first items I ordered were the strawberry paste butter roll and chocolate muffin. If you eat in your food will come served on a super cute tray like mine! It’s cute and retro. The pastries are so cute they seem a waste to eat. My roll was packed with filling, it was the real deal. You can order for takeout too. It’s nice to order something to go and have a cool looking picnic in Yoyogi Park or at home! Takeout items come in one of the shop’s original bags. I recommend this place if you’re visiting a friend. I also recommend the delicious gourmet burgers next door! Definitely try visiting these places. Information

The Harajuku-based brand KAWAII MONSTER CAFE has announced a traveling store, KAWAII MONSTER SHOP. As the project’s first event, a Halloween pop-up shop named ‘KAWAII MONSTER SHOP - Colorful Halloween’ will open for 10 days starting October 19 in the birthplace of the brand, Harajuku. KAWAII MONSTER CAFE is an entertainment restaurant that embodies the vibe of Harajuku in Tokyo, a town that swallows fashion and culture from places around the world and reimagines them into unrestrained originality. HARAJUKU COLLECTIVE, a Collaboration Between Hot Topic & Studio Ghibli, Gets Pop-Up Store at Shinsaibashi PARCO
Last year, the HARAJUKU COLLECTIVE collaboration appeared at AF Gallery in Harajuku from August 10 until August 28, garnering massive acclaim from fans. The collection is now being sold at Shinsaibashi PARCO until March 12, 2023.
HARAJUKU COLLECTIVE is a Studio Ghibli-inspired apparel collection by the popular American counterculture chain Hot Topic. Bringing more Japanese culture to the ongoing Studio Ghibli collaboration launched in 2014, Hot Topic stores began selling original items produced by nine Japanese creators and brands, as well as some original American items produced by Hot Topic’s executive designers.
The lineup of Japan-original items includes T-shirts, tote bags, and other items featuring exclusive artwork by up-and-coming creators. These items depict beloved characters from Studio Ghibli’s works, as well as logos created for the collaboration. Fans won’t want to miss grabbing these unique items!

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Rilakkuma and his adorable friends, the Rilakkuma 20th Anniversary Cafe will open in Omotesando, Tokyo from March 9 until April 16, 2023. You’ll want to come and spend a peaceful time looking back at two decades of everyone’s favorite lazy bear! Laforet Harajuku will host a pop-up shop inspired by the up-and-coming idol group FRUITS ZIPPER from February 1 until February 14! The FRUITS ZIPPER Valentine Pop-Up Shop will be found on the 5th floor MAKE THE STAGE area. FRUITS ZIPPER debuted in April 2022 and embodies a simple concept: “From Harajuku to the World.” The group’s second single Watashino Ichiban Kawaiitokoro exploded in popularity on TikTok, pulling in over 600 million views. In February, the girls will embark on their first solo concert tour in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The Winter 2022-2023 issue of the revived fashion creator magazine Zipper went on sale on December 23. This issue focuses on this winter’s must-know trends and is packed with coordination tips, outfit plans through spring, snapshots, hair and makeup tips, and much more. Zipper ended its 24-year history in December 2017. In March 2022, ASOBISYSTEM teamed up with DONUTS Inc. to revive the magazine as a quarterly release.
