Cö shu Nie Performs TV Anime ‘The Promised Neverland’ Ending Theme

Cö shu Nie released their vigorous and energetic single asphyxia back in April which was used as the opening theme song for Tokyo Ghoul:re. They also recently dropped their much-talked about Aurora EP in October.

The band just got off their three-date tour with a final show at WWW X in Shibuya, Tokyo where they announced they will perform the ending theme for the upcoming TV anime series The Promised Neverland which is set to air in January 2019 on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block.

 

The trio also followed up by announcing a new 7-date solo tour entitled Cö shu Nie Tour 2019 ”Daring Transition” slated for spring next year. It will begin at MACANA in Sendai on April 11 and wrap up at Liquidroom in Tokyo on April 25.

 

Cö shu Nie announced the following statement: “Nice to meet everyone. Cö shu Nie is a three-member band and we’ve been given the chance to perform the ending theme for ‘The Promised Neverland.’ The song talks about how no matter how many times you are trampled underfoot, you must never stop going forward for the things that are important to you. [The Promised Neverland] is a series we’ve always read so we are very happy to be able to do this. Our hearts race at being able to see Emma and the others in motion. The series will have surprises to watch every week, so let’s all watch it together.”

  • The Promised Neverland Escape Game Has You Running Away From the Forest Demons

    Japanese real-life escape game creative company SCRAP is set to open a new game in collaboration with the anime series The Promised Neverland. Titled "Escape from the Demons' Forest," the game will open in seven cities across Japan on July 8.   Escape game bring people together in a themed space where they have to solve puzzles in order to escape. Players of this new game take on the role of one of the special children to be eaten like Emma, Ray, and Norman. They must work alongside the characters while avoiding the demons guarding the area. If you've always wanted to feel like you're in the world of The Promised Neverland, this immersive experience is on way of getting there. SCRAP has collaborated with The Promised Neverland before, with their 2019 game receiving the Best Event Award for its original story and level of immersion.     The exhibition is split into seven 'chapters' which recreate various scenes from the manga and anime series. The areas are littered with props such as the truck that Conny goes into, the test room desks, ​William Minerva's pen, and so on. They even have the rooms smelling like they would in the series.
  • Noitamina Celebrates 15th Anniversary With Anime Song Orchestra Concert

    Fuji TV's anime programming block Noitamina celebrated its 15th anniversary with a special anniversary orchestra concert held at Tokyo International Forum Hall C on May 29.   The breathtaking concert featured a line-up of anime songs that play during iconic scenes from different anime series. It was conducted by Satoshi Yoneda and performed by the incredible Tokyo 21C Philharmonic who lent their dynamic sound to the set list. The set invited each song's respective composer on piano including Yugo Kanno for the main theme of Library War, Takahiro Obata for the first main theme of The Promised Neverland, Masaru Yokoyama for Yuujin A-Kun o Watashi No Bansousha Ni Ninmeishimasu from Your Lie in April, and more. Sarah Àlainn also made an appearance to sing the insert song Isabella no Uta from The Promisd Neverland.   The performance included scenes and visuals from each anime series edited specially for this cocnert.
  • The Promised Neverland x Hotel Keihan Room Plan Collaboration Begins

    Hotel Keihan launched a new guest room plan in collaboration with the anime series The Promised Neverland at its Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, and Sapporo branches on Tuesday. It also released a collection of exclusive merchandise which can be bought at each hotel's front desk.

    The hotel plan was originally scheduled to take place for three months but has been extended by a further month to accommodate for travel restrictions as well as guest demand. New prices have also been introduced to make it more accessible to people.
