Tokyo Disneyland® and Tokyo DisneySea® have announced the return of the Campus Day Passport, a one-day entry pass aimed at students at a discounted price that can be used at both parks. It will be available for a limited time from January 7 to March 20 next year.
Three all-new and must-visit photo spots will make an appearance for students as part of this special springtime campaign.
The first photo spot will be at the Disney Electric Railway on January 7. Located next to Port Discovery, this station building runs the iconic red tram that takes guests around the park. You are free to climb on board the tram and take photos, something which is normally difficult to do on this attraction.
Running: January 7 – January 20
Next is at the Indiana Jones® Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull area. This is normally the area where you have to line up for the ride, but for a limited time it will turn into a photo spot with trick art on display. Expect to take some adventurous photos that look like you are about to fall through a crumbling floor or are passing over a rickety bridge.
Running: January 21 – February 19
Finally, a cute window will greet guests over at the Figaro’s Clothiers store. Something mysterious might just happen if you stand in front of the window…
Running: January 15 – March 30
In line with the spring campaign, students can expect to get their hands on some Disney themed school uniform merchandise including ribbons and neckties to coordinate their very own Tokyo Disney Resort student outfit.
The hoodies come printed with the Tokyo Tokyo Resort logo and in different colours which would look great with a guy wearing one and a girl the other.
Other items include a cute mouse ear hairband, hats and more.

Tokyo Disney Resort® is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary this year with its Happiest Celebration event which is running until March 25, 2019. In recent news, the resort has just announced that the Disney cast are set to welcome the New Year at both Tokyo DisneylandⓇ and Tokyo DisneySeaⓇ.
Dubbed the "New Year's Greeting," Mickey Mouse and the other characters will appear dressed in kimono at Tokyo Disneyland while riding floats adorned in New Year's decorations to welcome 2019. At Tokyo DisneySea, Mickey, Minnie and other cast members will don new kimono and board a boat decorated with 2019 designs, welcoming the New Year for guests. Additionally, the second New Year's Greeting on January 1 will see the 2019-202 Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassador make an appearance to also greet guests. *Program subject to change or cancellation depending on weather conditions. Also, in line with 2019 being the Year of the Boar, a New Year's pine decoration of Pumba from The Lion King will be placed at the park entrances. Universal Studios Japan - "Universal Wonder Christmas" Universal Studios Japan has added a new daytime program titled Yellow Christmas to its "Universal Wonder Christmas" winter event which is running until January 6, 2019. The main event of Yellow Christmas is seeing the cheeky Minions from the Despicable Me film franchise come together for the Minion Hacha Mecha Christmas Party. This party is bigger, better and crazier than last year’s hugely successful run. Expect to see Minions donning Christmas attire as well as appearances from Gru and Santa Claus. Yellow balloons float across the event and bubbles are blown as everyone comes together for festive merry making. The event finale sees Minion-yellow confetti shoot across the whole area. Tokyo Disney Resort® has announced some new attractions and programs that will be heading to Tokyo Disneyland® and Tokyo DisneySea® next year.
"Soaring: Fantastic Flight" (Tokyo DisneySea) - Summer 2019 Soaring: Fantastic Flight is coming to Tokyo DisneySea in summer 2019 as a new take on the immensely popular flight motion simulator attraction Soarin' seen at Disney California Adventure, Epcot, and Shanghai Disneyland. The ride will open in the Mediterranean Harbour area and will have guests enjoying a spectacular journey through the sky with wind on their faces and different scents entering their noses as they travel to famous places around the world, in nature and elsewhere. It will feature completely original scenes not seen anywhere else. Night Time Spectacular" "Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland" (Tokyo Disneyland) Celebrate! The world of Beauty and the Beast brought to life
The area connects Belle's village to Beast's castle by way of the forest. At the entrance to the village, guests will immediately spot the cottage of Maurine, Belle's father and the vilage inventor. Beyond that is Gaston's water fountain as well as a restaurant inspired by Gaston's bar. There are also other shops that Belle visits in the film, such as the bookshop. It's like stepping into the magical world itself. When you leave the village and head through the forest, you are met by the spectacle that is Beast's castle, coloured in a cute pink. There's a large-scale attraction inside called "Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast." The Tokyo Disneyland-original attraction "Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast"
The attraction, located inside the towering 30m-tall castle, features magical cups that guests board. The cups dance in rhythm to music from the film as they take guests through iconic moments seen in the Disney classic. There are many surprises and discoveries to be found inside the castle. The Village Shops area features a line of shops inspired by those seen in Belle's town, each of which sells various items from clothing to accessories and souvenirs. There are around 100 pieces of merchandise for fans to sift through. The shops are also carrying out measures against COVID-19, showcasing the items in a display only so they cannot be touched when entering the store. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea launched their first ever music playlists on all major streaming websites on Friday, including on Spotify and Apple Music.
Music from Tokyo Disneyland features everything from famous ballads and show music from the park to Tokyo Disneyland's nostalgic anniversary theme song, a "Ride Through Mix" that has you feeling like you're on the park's attractions, and more. It's a magic-filled Tokyo Disneyland musical fantasy. Music from Tokyo DisneySea follows the same course as the Tokyo Disneyland playlist, except it also has the theme songs of the park's seven ports. It's packed full of imagination the likes of which you can only experience at Tokyo DisneySea. Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea will be temporarily closed until March 15 to reduce the spread of the new coronavirus. Japan's Coronavirus Countermeasures Taskforce has advised that there is a high risk of spreading the infection at large-scale sports and culture events and facilities where large numbers of people travel from across the country and congregate in one area. As many facilities and events in Tokyo are being restricted, postponed and even cancelled over the next two weeks, Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea announced that both parks will close temporarily from February 29 - March 15, 2020. The parks plan to reopen on March 16, 2020, however this will be decided following consultation with concerned administrative agencies and will be announced on their official website. If you have already purchased tickets which are valid during the parks' closing dates, please refer to the links below.

The world is about to get its first Big Hero 6 themed park attraction, "The Happy Ride with Baymax," at Tokyo Disneyland when it opens on April 15, 2020. In promotion of the exciting new ride, Tokyo Disneyland has announced it will serve six different Baymax inspired menu items starting from April 8ーa week before The Happy Ride with Baymax's grand opening.

When you think of Baymax, you think of his white, chubby round face and body. Well, that image has been brought to life in this curry dish, with Baymax's cute appearance recreated in the form of white rice. Tokyo Disneyland's new biggest area is set to open on April 15, 2020, which will house four new exciting facilities: the new Beauty and the Beast attraction, the Fantasyland Forest Theatre, the Baymax's Happy Ride attraction, and the Minnie's Style Studio. To celebrate the new area's opening, several restaurants and eateries in Tokyo Disneyland will serve up some special menu items.
