With just a small bit of ingenuity, turn everyday food into something cute using Kaori’s Easy Recipe! With a few simple ideas, an ordinary recipe magically transforms into a cute dish.
In this recipe you’ll learn how to make “Pompompurin rich chocolate mousse”, which is perfect for valentine’s season♡
1: Ingredients
Chocolate 50g
Gelatin 5g
Fresh cream 180g
Sugar-free cocoa powder 1 table spoon
Sugar 2 table spoons
2:
Put all the ingredients into a pot and stir while cold. Heat and melt the chocolate, being careful not to boil it. Add 1 tablespoon of water to the gelatin until it becomes soft and then add to the mixture and stir until dissolved.
☆Mix well while still cold, otherwise the powder will go lumpy.
3:
From step 2, filter the mix after the gelatin has dissolved.
4:
Pour the mixture from step 3 to a vat, let it cool down a bit and then refrigerate until firm.
5:
Slice a yellow peach to make Purin, by drawing the eyes, nose, and hat with chocolate.
☆Wipe any syrup off from the surface of the yellow peach with kitchen paper, and then draw the parts.
Ears are connected to the face when the syrup dries, however you can also use some pasta to make it stronger.
6:
Put some cereal, whip cream, yellow peach and chocolate mousse of your choice in a cup, then place Purin on the top and you are done!
Just a little bit of chocolate mousse makes the parfait simply scrumptious! The taste of yellow peach and crunchy cereal makes for a good combination♡

With just a small bit of ingenuity, turn everyday food into something cute using Kaori’s easy recipe! With a few simple ideas, an ordinary recipe magically transforms into a cute dish. In this character recipe you will learn how to make a “Pompompurin Steamed Cheese Bread” (labeled CHEESE STEAM UP BREAD). Did you know that recently decorating a “steamed cheese bread” is the in thing to be doing right now? So, in this recipe I will explain about how to decorate a steamed cheese bread in a Christmas fashion. 1:Ingredients
1 steamed cheese bread 1 sheet of nori (dried seaweed) Chocolate plastic Red coloring powder 2: Trace an illustration of your favorite character onto a baking sheet. I chose Pompompurin. Next, I thought it would be cute to indent the face and highlight the ears so I cut out these parts from the baking sheet. 3: Next, place the face cutout onto the surface of the cheese bread and cut the bread in line with the cutout. Remove this part and set it aside. This part will be used to make the ears and hands. The surface below the removed part might be a bit uneven so using the back end of a chopstick make this area flat. 4: Turn over the removed part and flatten this surface using the back end of a chopstick. Place the ear cutout onto the surface and cut the ears out. Using the remaining part cut out some round hands. 5:Color the plastic chocolate red and form the hat and boots. Using the white plastic chocolate, add the white parts. Using a puncher, cut out the eyes, nose and mouth from the laver seaweed. Place all of these parts on the surface of the cheese bread, and voila, your “Pompompurin Steamed Cheese Bread” is complete. 1. Ingredients Store bought roll cake Fruits of your choice (fresh or canned) Fresh cream Sweet potato powder Milk Butter 2. First things first, sorting out the sweet potato. ①Dissolve the sweet potato powder into the milk, add the butter ans mix ②Form Pompompurin's face. ③The size will depend on the size of the parfait glass you are using. ④Mix in part cocoa to make the hat, and roll hands into little balls. ⑤Add a little bit of water to some egg yolk then brush onto the surface. Making sure not to brown your mix, cook at 140-150℃ for around 10 minutes. ⑥Leave to fully cool down then drawn on the face with a chocolate pen or melted cocoa. 3. Cut fruits of your choice into bite-size chunks. Add a touch of kawaii by cutting banana or kiwi into flower shapes. 4. Arrange the fruits neatly around the side of the glass and add alternating layers of any leftover fruit, roll cake and fresh cream. 5. Cap everything off with a slice of roll cake so that the sweet potato Pompompurin sits nicely on top. With just a small bit of ingenuity, turn everyday food into something cute using Kaori’s recipe series! With a few simple ideas, an ordinary recipe magically transforms into a cute dish.
For this recipe, you'll learn how make mini Pompompurin pumpkin tarts! This is a simple recipe you can make with just a blender.
1: Ingredients
12 Tart shells
150g Pumpkin (deseeded, skin taken off and made soft)
50ml Fresh cream (In this recipe I used soy milk)
20-30g Sugar (Depending on the sweetness of the pumpkin)
1 Egg yolk (small egg)
Sliced Chocolate
Tinned yellow peach
2: Steam and make the pumpkin soft in the microwave. Place the softened pumpkin, sugar, fresh cream (or soy milk) and egg yolk into a blender.
3: Blitz until it's mixed like in the photo above.
4: Pour the mixture from Step 3 into the tart shells and place into a 180℃ preheated oven. Lower the temperature to 140-150℃ and cook for 10-15 minutes. (You don't want to brown anything, so we cook it on a low heat.)
If it looks like it's about to start browning, cover with aluminium foil as this will prevent it from burning.
5: Once your cooked tarts have fully cooled down, use a round cutter to make a hat out of chocolate and a tear-drop cutter to make ears out of the yellow peach. The round ball on top of the hat can be made by breaking off some sliced chocolate and rolling it with your fingers.
Finally, drawn on the eyes, nose and mouth with a warmed chocolate pen!
The crunchy tart shells and moist pumpkin paste go pair together wonderfully! And the sourness from the yellow peach is perfect, making is really tasty♡

Kobe is filled with famous sightseeing spots like the nostalgic Ijinkan neighborhood and port. The city is packed with fashionable shops and restaurants and is highly regarded for its selection of tasty sweets! The port city, with over 150 years of history, has fostered a unique and diverse culinary culture. Recently, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu began starring in a series of promotional videos for the Gastropolis Kobe project. The artist traveled to the city to partake in plenty of delicious treats, and MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON went along for the ride! Here are some of the singer's favorite spots around town.
Kobe, known as a city where East meets West, is lined with sweets shops that are unique to the area. The tea salon TOOTH TOOTH Dekoboko Sabo opened in 2019 in the Kobe City Museum and offers a menu that mixes Western food and sweets with tea and ingredients from traditional Japanese cuisine. Kyary ordered the Dekoboko Sabo Afternoon Tea Set, a collection of western sweets blended with the essence of traditional Japanese flavors. Guests are invited to enjoy their tea and sweets in a one-of-a-kind space filled with Meiji period flare and retro Western furniture. Those interested will need to make a reservation, so be sure to remember the next time you’re in Kobe. Kobe MILK is known nationwide for its Apricot Pudding, which is made with local ingredients. The raw apricot pudding is mixed with milk brought from the foot of Mt. Rokko and other ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture. Of course, Kyary ordered some, and was amazed by its fluffy texture. You can only enjoy it in Kobe–also, the shop sells other puddings mixed with seasonal fruits, so don’t miss those either! Guests are surrounded by greenery, and the Western-style building is incredibly elegant. The Strawberry Mille-feuille Kyary ordered was created by an expert patissier and based on the strawberry mille-feuille recipe from the legendary French restaurant Maxim’s de Paris in Ginza. A generous amount of custard cream complements the crispy pie crust and enhances the sweetness of the fresh strawberries. We’d recommend it with a glass of champagne–if you’re of age.
