Terrace House is a popular Japanese reality TV show airing both on Netflix and Fuji Television’s streaming service FOD.
The latest season Terrace House: Opening New Doors is set in Karuizawa. The final episode aired on February 12, 2019. In line with its finale, a new season entitled Terrace House Tokyo 2019-2020 has been announced and it will be set in Tokyo.
6 new men and women, all strangers, are set to enter the new Terrace House to get to know each other in the capital, which is set to host the Olympic Games in the summer of 2020. The show will begin streaming on Netflix in May this year and FOD in June.
The official website for the new season is also now taking applications to take part on the show. The conditions are you must be 18-29 years old, in good health and someone who can co-habit with other people.
A special talk show by Noah Ishikura and Seina Shimabukuro, both of whom were on the latest season, will take place at BAR. LOVE STORY in Harajuku. The two of them became a couple while in on the show in Karuizawa.

Scottish electro-pop trio CHVRCHES shared a video of them performing their song Graves which is used as the opening theme for the Netflix reality series Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020.
The band recently performed at Summer Sonic in Japan this summer, and during their visit they took a trip to the Terrace House. Graves is being used for episodes 17-20 which will air between October 1 to 22. The song is taken from the band's 2018 hit album Love Is Dead. The Japanese deluxe edition of the album as well as the band's Hansa Session EP includes the song Out Of My Head which features Japanese artist Wednesday Campanella. Niki, who was nominated for global top 100 most beautiful faces for two years in a row, and Ami Komuro, who is famous for featuring in a commercial alongside Laura, attended an event at Tiffany. The event was filmed on 18th April in two shots. The two beautiful girls, who became popular after featuring on Netflix’s show Terrace House, appeared together at the event. Tiffany & Co. founded Japan’s first ever concept store Tiffany @ Cat Street. The store opened in Harajuku on 19th April on Cat Street and is planned to remain open for three years.
