Five-person dance and vocal group MADKID will release their first major album “CIRCUS” on 24th April.

The lead track on the album is the cool song “FAITH”, which will be the second opening theme song for anime “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. The album also includes the first cool opening theme song “RISE”, which is currently on air. The album consists of other existing singles as well as new songs. 

The special feature of this album is the luxurious bonus tracks “RISE English version” and “FAITH English version”, which are aimed at overseas fans. In addition, the album includes the song “Sing for you”, which was sung by three band members last year on tour in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. It will be the first time that “STAY GOLD”, which is a rap performed by two band members, will be included on a CD. Including the four bonus tracks, there are a total of 15 songs on the album.

The Type-A special DVD version includes a live recording of the final performance of their Tokyo Nagoya Osaka tour “SHIBUYA WWW” that was held at the end of last year. After releasing “CIRCUS”, the band will embark on their “CIRCUS” tour! The final performance of their tour will take place on 29th May at Tokyo Ebisu LIQUID ROOM.

MADKID is a five-member Japanese hip-hop and dnace group comprised of two rappers and three singers. The group made their major debut back in January this year. It ha been announced that their third major single RISE will be released on February 6, 2019.

The title track will be used as the opening theme song for the upcoming anime series The Rising of the Shield Hero which is set to begin airing in January. The song is described as having piercing lyrics and a hard, rock melody that links together with the feelings of the anime’s protagonist who has lost everything and desperately fights in an unfair world.

The Type-A version of the single comes with a DVD featuring a music video and its making-of as well the full footage of the group’s performance at Shinjuku ReNY on April 30, 2018. MADKID will support the single with a string of release events that will begin on December 1 in Fukuoka.
