Popular phone game app “Neko Atsume”, downloaded more than 19 million times, gets its own movie! “Neko Atsume no Ie” in theatres 2017!
“Neko Atsume” is a game app that has gained immense popularity all around the world, having been downloaded over 19 million times. It has now been announced that the loved game will get its own movie titled “Neko Atsume no Ie” to be released nationwide in Japan in 2017.
“Neko Atsume” was released in October 2014. In the app, you have fun by watching all the different types of cats visit your garden, and fans love it. It’s a game enjoyed globally, having even been features on the American news program “CNN”. The protagonist of the movie is a novelist. He turns over a new leaf by moving to a quieter location. The story begins while he isn’t feeling too great and a cat comes to visit.
Lots of cats are set to appear in the film, from veterans to newbies. There’ll be plenty of cats to see, all with different behaviours and expression – and all will grab your heart. This is the birth of a cat-filled extravaganza that will inevitably touch your heart!

Hoshino Resorts OMO7 Asahikawa has announced a new ‘Animal Sauna,’ inviting guests to spend time with cute animals to heal the body and soul. The sauna will be open from March 1 to May 31, 2022.
Fans of Gashapon capsule toys know that animal sauna figures are popular among sauna enthusiasts. These figures are only about four centimeters big, but during this sauna event, they will be life-sized and placed within the sauna space! These massive figures were made with the help of Bandai. Sauna hats protect guests' heads and hair from the heat, and sauna ponchos prevent guests from getting too cold after emerging from the space. Now, these hats feature cute animal ears, and the sauna mats are covered in animal prints as well. These will also be available to rent or buy! The lounge space will also be transformed, and a drink bar with animal-themed glasses will help guests to rehydrate after time in the sauna. This collaboration has produced the project “Cat’s Nap Time Produced by Cat’s” and aims to spread the love of, you guessed itー cats! This is the 3rd stage of their collaboration project where the running theme on the special collaboration menu is cat-themed pastries. There will be 5 varieties of tea, baked sweets and other baked items! The collaboration menu will be released on Thursday 9th February.

Other tasty treats include cat-shaped biscuits and the “Cat’s Nap Time Afternoon Tea Set” which is a plate of collaboration sweet treats.
