Huwie Ishizaki – “Namida” Teaser
The film is being directed by Shōji Kawamori who is known for his work on the Macross series. It will premiere on June 14, 2019 at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku and elsewhere.
The designer of the CD cover and director and editor of the video (今野芳章) commented the following: “Three elements appear in the video: glasses, spraying water, and a pillow. Each of them is inspired by the keyword ‘Namida’ [tears]. It captures the idea of the experience of being moved to tears as something that we fully assimilate when we are alone […] The tears in our eyes that obstruct our lenses, overflowing feelings like that of a water fountain, and wanting to bury our face into the pillow and cry out loud in the dark. The song holds a dynamism of hiding and overcoming the tears. I tried to express those things with the camera work.”
