Vermicular Musui–Kamado Cast Iron Induction Cooker Wins A’Design Award

The new Vermicular Musui–Kamado developed by AICHI DOBBY won a Gold award at the A’Design Award & Competition 2019 in Italy. The award rankings from highest to lowest are Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron. The Gold awards make up only the top 3% of all awards in the competition, making it a feat to be celebrated.

 

The Vermicular Musui–Kamado is a cast iron induction cooker. It is an upgrade of the Vermicular Rice Pot which was released in Japan in December 2016, adding several new settings to it including “waterless” cooking and precision cooking. The cooker was re-branded as the Musui–Kamado and hit the US market in January this year.

The cooker is also the winner of the JIDA Design Museum Selection Vol.19 and 2017 Good Design in Japan as well as the iF Design Award 2019 and Red Dot Design 2019 in Germany.

With these awards, AICHI DOBBY continues to push their expert craft to the international market and place “Made in Japan” items into peoples’ homes around the world.

  • BULK HOMME to Open Online Store in UK and France

    Men’s skincare brand BULK HOMME had postponed their sales in UK and France due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), but they are now set to open their official online store to the neighbouring countries on May 26, 2020. The new global brand website will be viewable in both English and French. In-store sales however are currently on hold due to the lockdown measures. BULK HOMME’s products will also be sold through the French men’s cosmetics websites MenCorner and Comptoir de l’homme.

  • Japan’s Men Skin Care Brand BULK HOMME to Release Products in France & UK

    BULK HOMME, a Japanese skin care brand for men, is releasing a line of its popular products in France and the United Kingdom on March 20, 2020. To date, the company has focused in the Asian region, stocking shelves in Taiwan, China, South Korea and Hong Kong. This will be the first time the company makes its mark in Europe.   BULK HOMME placed top in the Hair Product category at Cosmoprof Bologna 2019 for its product "THE SHAMPOO," held in Italy last March, making it the first Japanese men's brand to do so. French professional footballer Kylian Mbappé was even enlisted as the global ambassador for the brand in June 2019.   The company is also using its European expansion as an opportunity to replace its outer packaging form a clear case to paper that has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. This will begin rolling out this March.
