Mrs. GREEN APPLE will release the new song Soranji on November 9. The 10th single comes over three years after the group’s last release, and the Utopia ARENA SHOW Blu-ray and DVD will be released on December 14, 2022.   The music video for Soranji has been uploaded to YouTube. The song will serve as the theme for the film With Love from the Gulag, scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on December 9. Motoki Ohmori is credited as the Music Video Planning Director, and the lyricist worked closely with video director Seri Yoshiharu to bring the song to life.   Soranji - Mrs. GREEN APPLEhttps://youtu.be/44cICMd3jW4   The Soranji single also includes a cover of Ado’s I’m Invincible, currently a hit track due to its inclusion in ONE PIECE FILM RED, and Floriginal, a song being used in the fragrance and music collaboration project PARFATUNE. The limited first edition includes a bonus DVD with documentary footage of the production process, as well as a luxurious original sleeve case and a 24-page Soranji photo book.   The Utopia Blu-ray and DVD will include all 23 songs from the one-night-only live performance held on July 8, 2022, as well as special behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage. 

Five-member Japanese rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE partnered up with Universal Music Group to launch the all-new "Project-MGA."   Project-MGA aims to expand the activities of Mrs. GREEN APPLE globally a vision of 'Continuing to provide excitement to people around the world with the best possible entertainment'. Mrs. GREEN APPLE announced a hiatus back in July 2020, but the launch of "Project-MGA" marks the beginning of a new chapter for the group.

Japanese "hybrid" bookshop honto, which is co-managed by Junkudo and 2Dfacto, has used its online and physical book sales data to rank the top 10 manga series of the current 2020 summer anime roster. Their ranking was released on July 2.

The slapstick love comedy Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! (Volume 4) by Take clocks in at number one. The series has sold over 1 million copies in Japan. The data shows that the series is most popular with people in their 30's, who rate at 41.2% of the sales. Will they be watching the anime adaptation too? In 2nd place is Fire Force (Volume 22) which is serialised in Weekly Shonen Magazine. This series is most popular with those in their 20's. Season two of the anime series will premiere on July 5. And in 3rd place is Sword Art Online (Volume 24), a series loved by fans the world over. This hugely popular series has sold over 20 million light novels, and is popular in all age groups, with the biggest percentage of sales going to those in their 40's at 28.2%. The first season of the anime adaptation aired back in 2012. The second half of the War of Underworld will begin on July 11.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE has just dropped a music video for PRESENT (Japanese ver.) which is taken from their upcoming first greatest hits album 5 set to commemorate the rock band's 5th anniversary and hit shelves on July 8, 2020. The original English version of the track was released on April 10, 2020 along with a music video. Lenny code fiction dropped their 5th single Nounai on December 11 last year. They kicked off their Japanese nationwide tour "Lenny code fiction Presents 5th Single Nounai Release Tour 'Rock no Fukken'" to promote the single at LOOK in Chiba on Monday January 13th.   The band has just released a live video of them performing Nounai, which is used as the ending theme for the hit TV anime series Fire Force.
