Ling Tosite Sigure Release Spider-Man: Far From Home Theme Music Video

Ling Tosite Sigure will release their double A-side single Neighbormind / laser beamer on July 3. The track Neighbormind was released early today on digital music services. The song is used as the main theme for the Japanese dub of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Far From Home which will premiere in Japan on June 28, 2019.

 

The band also just dropped the music video for Neighbormind which was directed by Masakazu Fukatsu. The video makes use of Spider-Man’s iconic red and blue colours in its lighting and lasers.

    Ling Tosite Sigure will release their double A-side single Neighbormind / laser beamer on July 3. The band recently played Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on June 22 as part of their ongoing “Golden Fake Thinking” solo tour where they performed the new track Neighbormind for the first time.

    The song will be used as the main theme for the Japanese dub of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Far From Home which will be released first in Japan on June 28. The song will be released for digital download early on the same date.

    At the same show the band also performed laser beamer, the main theme song for the Psycho-Pass spin-off stage play Psycho-Pass: Virtue and Vice. Both tracks from the new single can now be heard early in high-resolution at five Sony Store branches as part of the “Far From Low-Resolution in Sony Store” event which began on June 21.

    Ling Tosite Sigure’s tour will wrap up at Zepp Osaka Bayside on June 30.

    On July 3, Ling Tosite Sigure will release a double A side single including laser beamerthe main theme song for the Psycho-Pass spin-off stage play Psycho-Pass: Virtue and Vice, and Neighbormind, which is the main theme song for the Japan release of the upcoming film Spiderman: Far From Home.

     

    Tension is rising in Japan as excited fans of the band, Psycho-Pass and Spiderman anxiously await for more releases. For those of you who are craving more content, you are in luck! Sony Stores across five cities are holding a special event called Far From Low-Resolution in Sony Store, where you can have a listen to these songs in high quality much before their release.

     

    London audio engineer and record producer Tom Dalgety, who is famous for his work with Royal Blood and the Pixies, took on the audio engineering for Neighbormind, bumping up the quality to 96k/24bit. TK from the band took on the audio engineering for laser beamer, editing it to 48k/24bit . Fans are invited to come listen and compare the differences in their audio engineering and enjoy a new high-quality audio experience.

    Ling Tosite Sigure recently announced the release of a new double A-side single which will include the song laser beamerthe main theme song for the Psycho-Pass spin-off stage play Psycho-Pass: Virtue and Vice.

     

    Details regarding the lead track have been released including the title as well as the CD content.

    The name of the song is Neighbormind which will be used as the main theme song in the Japanese dub of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Far From Home. The sequel film is set for worldwide release on July 2, 2019 but it will hit cinemas earlier in Japan on June 28, 2019.

     

    Ling Tosite Sigure’s own TK was put in charge of the main theme for the Japanese dub of the Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse under his solo project TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. He returns this time with his band for the new Spider-Man movie.

     

    Neighbormind will receive an early digital release on June 28 before the CD drops on July 3.

    TK released the following statement with regards to the release: “When I received another offer following Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, I felt truly honoured and was incredibly surprised. Rather than my solo project from last time, the baton was handed over to the band […] The story of Spider-Man always exceeds my expectations. We aimed to write the kind of song that doesn’t simply add another coat of paint [to the film] but rather soars in from faraway and jumps into it, intertwining at that point. I’m looking forward to the moment I hear it in the film! P.S. Following the example of the film’s title Far From Home, our song was mixed in London.”

  • Ling Tosite Sigure Digitally Releases ‘laser beamer’ & Music Video

    Ling Tosite Sigure just released their new song laser beamer digitally on April 18. The song was written for the first ever stage adaptation of the anime series Psycho-Pass entitled Psycho-Pass: Virtue and Vice.

     

    The band has collaborated with the series on several occasions, providing the opening song Abnormalize for the first season and Enigmatic Feeling for the second.

    The band also released a music video for the song of their official YouTube channel. The abstract video stays faithful to the title of the song with its use of lasers.

     

    Ling Tosite Sigure also revealed they will release a new single on July 3. It will be released as a double A-side single with laser beamer as one of the tracks. Full details have yet to be announced but it will be released as a Limited Pressing Edition single so fans won’t want to miss out.

     

    The band are set to embark on their first tour of 2019 “Golden Fake Thinking.” It will begin at CLUB CITTA’ in Kawasaki on May 15.

    Ling Tosite Sigure’s last album to be released was #5 back in February 2018. After their tour last year the band released a remixed version of their song Abnormalized by Masayuki Nakano of BOOM BOOM SATELLITES. The original track was used as the opening theme for the anime series Psycho-Pass while the remix was used as the theme song for the film trilogy Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System.

     

    Fans have long been waiting for new news on the band’s activities, and they will be pleased to find out that the band is set to go on their first ever solo tour this year. The title of the tour is “Tour 2019 Golden Fake Thinking.”

     

    The 7-show tour will begin at Sendai PIT on May 18 and finish up at Zepp Osaka Bayside on June 30. Pre-sale tickets are now live.
