Popular TV anime Magical DoReMi is celebrating 20 years of its broadcast and the release of its upcoming 2020 film Majo Minarai o Sagashite by opening a cafe and shop in the TV Station official shop Tree Village, which is located in Tokyo Solamachi. The cafe and shop will be open for a limited period only from November 2 to December 1.
Head to the shop for limited merchandise featuring dessert-themed illustrations.
After browsing the merchandise, stop by the collaboration cafe to immerse yourself in the world of Magical DoReMi and treat yourself to character-themed meals and drinks.

KFC Japan is teaming up with the Peanuts franchise to release a new line of mugs featuring designs of Snoopy and the rest of the gang. They will be released on November 22, with in-store pre-orders opening on November 1.
Christmas is a big time for KFC in Japan as it's a location many people enjoy dining at during the holiday season. This special Snoopy collaboration has been dubbed a pre-Christmas celebration. Four mugs will be available, including pink, yellow and blue ones as well as a "rare" mug which is the hardest one to obtain. The mugs feature completely original illustrations of Snoopy and his friends playing in the snow. Also arriving on November 1 is a series of other Snoopy-themed merchandise which can be obtained when ordering the kids meals pictured below. The first in the series will be a plate which comes with the same 4 designs as the mugs. Fantasy restaurant Alice in an Old Castle, Ikebukuro will be serving up an all-you-can-eat buffet menu consisting of approximately 30 varieties of sweet treats and light bites. The beautiful Blue snow collection will be served from November to December. The Playing Cards and other Alice in Wonderland-themed motifs can be seen decorating the grand buffet table. There is a 30-minute opportunity for all keen Instagrammers to get photos of the buffet table before the eating commences.
From the snow icing biscuits to the blue roses, the Blue snow collection theme runs through the entire buffet. The warm grape juice and melted cheese croque monsieur will quickly warm your winter-weathered body. Among the snowy hills dusted in intricate and icy snowflakes comes the sweet and aromatic scent of the caramelised purin cake. The mildly sweet flavour of the milk and eggs is accented with a tangy lemon flavour. Stollen fruit bread is traditionally served at Christmas in Germany and has become an unmissable part of the perfect Christmas celebration. The bread is moist and heavy and kneaded with dried fruits as it needs to be preserved to last the entire Christmas season. This traditional bread is packed with the flavours of Christmas. A slice of this is the perfect dessert for those who don’t have much of a sweet tooth. The Christmas tree cake at the centre of the buffet will immediately catch your eye. Fresh and juicy strawberries, silver pearls and white rice dumplings decorate the tree. You will not be able to resist posting this on your Instagram. Cut a slice to reveal the chocolate sponge cake underneath. The ears of the White Rabbit can be seen poking out of this tart. Once you take a bite, the sweet flavours will melt in your mouth. The tart is baked to enhance the banana flavour. Brown sugar is added for a rich sweetness that is not overpowering, creating a brand new flavour experience. To celebrate the return of Urusei Yatsura after 36 long years, a themed cafe will be coming to four cities in Japan for a limited time! The first cafe will open on December 1, 2022. Urusei Yatsura is a manga series by Rumiko Takahashi that ran in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1978 until 1987. An anime series aired in 1981 and became a massive hit with audiences, and understandably, it is still loved by anime and manga fans today. The cafe features newly-drawn illustrations of six main characters including Ataru Moroboshi, Lum, and Ten.

The second Tabekko Doubutsu Cafe Stand event opened in Omotesando on November 1, 2022. Paying homage to the classic snack first released in 1978, the cafe features a number of tasty snacks inspired by the thin animal-shaped cookies popular around the world. This second event will run through January 9, 2023. Reservations are required, and many dates were completely sold out prior to the event’s start date, particularly on weekends. We decided to visit, anxious to see what the fuss is all about.
We were first shocked to see the popular animals enjoying oden! Original goods featuring the characters enjoying the quintessential Japanese winter dish are only available at the cafe. From acrylic keychains to figures, visitors can snag some adorable merchandise to commemorate their trip to the exclusive event. Why not snag some items that would be useful on a daily basis, like a notebook or an apron? For food, visitors can snag a special Oden Set and Chinese Dumplings, both perfect for the winter. The oden features popular ingredients like egg, daikon, fish cake, and mochikinchaku, each branded with the popular animal characters. Drinks include soy milk, green tea milk, and milk tea. In addition to the exclusive Lion Cake which is limited to 25 servings a day, guests can find chocolate bananas and other sweets on the menu, including a Sweets Set limited to those reserving special seats at the venue. For every ¥1,000 spent on food and drink items, customers will receive one Tabekko Doubutsu trading card! The exhibition space is a must-see for fans of this legendary snack, filled with rare works including an adorable and very colorful print of every animal holding a bowl of oden. Of course, a photo spot has been set up for visitors to take some prime shots for social media! Don’t miss the animal meet and greet, which is making its triumphant return from the last event!
