21.January.2020 | ANIME&GAME / MUSIC

The anime adaptation of Alifred Yamamoto’s romantic comedy manga series Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It placed number one in Akiba Souken’s poll of “Most Looking Forward to Anime Series of Winter 2020.” When the first episode dropped on January 10, the series was the second most popular trending hashtag on Twitter in Japan.

The anime’s ending theme Turing Love feat.Sou is sung by Japanese singer and musician Akari Nanawo. Its music video was released only three days ago on Saturday, and within just two days it broke one million views on YouTubeーNanawo’s fastest video to reach the milestone.

The duet song, which features male singer Sou as guest vocalist, was written by Nayutalien who has worked on many of Nanawo’s most well-recognised tracks.

The music video was illustrated by Katsuya Terada while the video was produced by Inu Nora who works as the VJ when Nanawo performs live with a band. The line-up is the same as the people who created Dadadada Tenshin and Instant Heaven feat.Eve which collectively have over 15 million views.

Adzuki (@小豆) created the dance choreography for the male and female scientists in the music video. She is known for her dance covers of Nayutalien’s songs. The video has been praised by both fans and creators for both Nanawo and Sou’s duet as well as the enticing choreography and fun animation.

The music video has also spawned countless vocal and dance covers.

Turing Love feat.Sou will be released as a single on February 5, 2020. Nanawo will also release a mini album entitled Manga Mitai na Koi ga Hoshii on April 8, which she will promote on tour in Japan in spring.
