The Perfect Protector: Shiseido’s New Sunscreen is Highly Heat and Water Resistant

Shiseido has announced the release of its new sunscreen “The Perfect Protector” which roll out worldwide in 85 countries on May 1, 2020. It will also be released at around 420 department stores and the company’s website in Japan.
In 2015, Shiseido released a new sunscreen that used “Wet Focus Technology,” meaning it was highly resistant to water, sweat and other liquids, as well as providing strong UV protection. It went on to win the Prix d’Excellence de la Beauté in the French fashion and beauty magazine Marie Claire in 2017.
The company’s new product, The Perfect Protector, makes use of SynchroShield™ーa combination of Wet Focus Technology and Heat Focus Technology, meaning this sunscreen is not only highly resistant to liquids, but heat too, ensuring even greater skin protection when you’re exposed to the sun. The skin care ingredients used in the sunscreen also protect your skin from drying out. The sunscreen feels light on the skin and is quickly absorbed too, so your arms aren’t left white from the cream.

The limited-time ‘BEAUTY EXPANSION’ exhibition is being held at ‘Shiseido Global Innovation Center S/Park’ between October 15 and 20 2021.
For the event, Shiseido’s beauty artists have collaborated with ‘Pokémon Shirt,’ the personalized Pokémon shirt service. The special exhibition relives the visual collaboration between Shiseido’s top hair and makeup artist Harada Tadashi and ‘Pokémon Shirt,’ with behind the scenes footage and more.
From the inspiration for the Harada Tadashi and ‘Pokémon Shirts’ collaboration to the three key visuals, the exhibition has been split into sections to show how the visuals were created. With drawings, crocheted hair parts, and more, you’ll learn about the order of production, how visuals are created, and even how new ideas about beauty are formed.
Not only can you relive the creation process of a top creator, but you will also experience the ever-changing and evolving expression of “beauty.” The music used for the promotional video was inspired by the key visuals and produced by Conisch, a music writer and producer who has worked for many animated TV shows and has even previously written the theme song for Pokémon. The hair and makeup fashion show held on October 20 will be broadcast on YouTube, with guest appearances from Harada Tadashi and Conisch themselves. Shiseido Releases Video for Global “POWER IS YOU” Campaign

Japanese cosmetic company Shiseido, sold in 88 countries around the world, has released a new conceptual video for its global “POWER IS YOU” campaign.
The short video features a star-studded cast of ambassadors from a variety of fields, including Megan Rapinoe, co-captain of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, known for her advocacy and creative style that defies stereotypes. The athlete has commented on her inclusion in the “POWER IS YOU” campaign, proud to show her authentic self and inspire others to live their truth.

Shiseido Parlour Releases Creamy BOUQUET DE FRAISES Biscuit Cake
The Ginza branch of Shiseido Parlour in Tokyo released its new BOUQUET DE FRAISES biscuit cake on Friday. The dessert is inspired by Shieido Parlour’s strawberry parfait and is made to be held in one hand. It comes with three kinds of creams, and each is a crunchy and customisable delight decorated like a bouquet.

Shiseido Uno x Ginza The Final Collaboration Launches in Japan

Shiseido’s men’s hairstyling, skincare, and body-care brand Uno is collaborating with the Gintama The Final to put the main three characters of the anime film on the bottle designs of its Uno Whip Wash product. The items will launch at the end of January in Japan in limited quantities in promotion of the anime film which hit Japanese theatres on January 8, 2021.

Made using specially selected shine muscat grapes farmed from Iizukakaju Orchards in Ueda, Nagano, together with three other varieties of grape for a super refreshing flavour.

Toasted raisin bread stuffed with seven different fruits, including seasonal and specially selected varieties, and fresh cream. It’s served with bittersweet ‘Karasuzanjo’ honey from Chiba Prefecture and a compote of seasonal fruits.

Sink Your Teeth Into These Beauty Inspired Parfaits at Shiseido Parlour in Harajuku
A colourful line-up of angelic parfaits will be served up at Shiseido Parlour The Harajuku, which is located on the 8th floor of the WITH HARAJUKU shopping centre, from August 18 to October 11.
Made in collaboration with Shiseido Beauty Square, also located in the building, these parfaits are inspired by different popular cosmetic brands.
The parfaits will be switched out every two weeks. The first parfait will be based around the brand bareMinerals. After that it will be NARS, then Laura Mercier, and finally Dolce & Gabbana Beauty. Each sweet treat also comes with samples of cosmetics and fragrances from each respective beauty company.
