Japanese dance performance group TOKYO GEGEGAY launched a new service on Wednesday called “TOKYO GEGEGAY Online Channel” where you can pay to watch specific members teach dance lessons.
Who is TOKYO GEGEGAY?
TOKYO GEGEGAY is a five-member dance and music unit made up of leader MIKEY, BOW, MARIE, MIKU, and YUYU. They are known for their unique and expressive dance choreography and addictive songs. They dropped their third album Kuroneko Hotel in 2018 and followed it up with a nationwide tour in Japan which was so popular they had to add extra dates. Their latest album, Kiteretsu Mental World, was released this year on February 5.
TOKYO GEGEGAY first ran a trial workshop where even people who have no dance experience could have fun. Band member BOW taught fans their DATSUDEBU dance which is hugely popular on YouTube. BOW also answer questions from fans.
The newest lessons on the schedule include yoga, dancing that people can enjoy as a family, and more.
