The new theme song for Scarlet Nexus is here! As with the first opening track, it was performed by rock band THE ORAL CIGARETTES and is titled MACHINEGUN. The song will be released digitally on October 13, 2021. 

Scarlet Nexus Second Creditless Opening

Scarlet Nexus is based on the action RPG of the same name, released on June 24, 2021, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The new opening shows the ongoing battle between Yuito, Kasane, and the other soldiers against the incoming army of monsters. Former member of EXILE GENERATIONS Ayumu Imazu made his solo debut in February 2020 to positive reviews. At only 21 years old, he’s a representative of Generation Z and has made a splash in the global music scene. On September 30, his new single Stranger hit streaming services! The track was chosen as the ending theme song for the second season of the popular anime series Scarlet Nexus. 

Scarlet Nexus began airing on a number of Japanese stations in July, and the song Stranger took over as ending theme in the fourteenth episode. This is the first time the singer is featured in an anime series, so we can only imagine his excitement!

After the airing of Episode 14, the clean version of the ending was also uploaded to YouTube.

The game’s main theme, Dream In Drive, is also performed by THE ORAL CIGARETTES. The track is taken from the band’s 2020 album SUCK MY WORLD.

SCARLET NEXUS is an upcoming anime series set to release on TOKYO MX on July 1. The opening theme, Red Criminal, will be performed by the Japanese alternative rock band THE ORAL CIGARETTES. The track will drop on June 30 and comes as the band’s first new song in over a year. Fans of the band and upcoming series will be able to hear a teaser of the track in an upcoming trailer planned for release this Saturday.
