Popular loungewear brand gelato pique will begin selling items from the Happy Mario Home Collection, the third installment of the SUPER MARIO meets GELATO PIQUE collection, on November 10. 32 items will be available at gelato pique stores nationwide, the official USAGI ONLINE store, and official Nintendo stores in Tokyo and Osaka. 

On November 4, the official gelato pique online store USAGI ONLINE launched a special page dedicated to Super Mario.

LEGO Japan will release seven new products in the LEGO Super Mario series in Japan on August 1, 2022. Princess Peach will finally be making her appearance in the anticipated lineup with some fun new building sets!

LEGO Super Mario allows players to take on challenging LEGO courses filled with characters and coins from the popular video game series. The newest product will star Princess Peach from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Fans can enjoy sound effects and voices from the series as they build the new set. The Peach, Mario, and Luigi figures can be connected via Bluetooth, and players can greet each other and earn bonus coins by working together to defeat enemies. Two players can earn more coins when playing together, so be sure to invite a friend! 

The Peach Castle Challenge will be released on the same day. Will you be picking up any of these LEGO sets?

The past two years have been difficult, with events being canceled and people having to spend more time inside. Universal Studios Japan is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new Christmas event, hoping to bring back guests’ smiles and offer a place to make new holiday memories. The event will run from November 26, 2021, until January 10, 2022.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

The park will decorate Gramercy Park, found in the heart of the New York section, with a massive Christmas tree, the first to be erected in two years. Featuring different decorations than years past, the tree will be clad in 20th-anniversary colors and adornments and will be the perfect place to take a photo! Plenty of Christmastime entertainment and lights will illuminate the park, giving visitors plenty of hope for the upcoming new year. 

The singing show ‘Power of Pop – Christmas Edition’ will be held at Mel’s stage, and guests can hear popular Christmas tunes sung live. The popular Super Nintendo World area of the park will be welcoming winter for the first time since its opening, with a new lineup of food and merchandise. 

A Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba collaboration event will also be going on until February 13, 2022. In addition, the Demon Slayer XR ride, the series’ first VR roller coaster, themed restaurants featuring character meet-and-greets will also be open, as well as shops selling original Demon Slayer merchandise. 

For the park’s 20th anniversary, the popular stage show NO LIMIT! will feature a special Christmas theme, with popular park characters clad in holiday costumes. The collaboration with popular girl’s band NiziU has been a major hit so far and will feature their original song FESTA. This new revival is sure to have visitors dancing to the music!

A new Christmas-exclusive AR filter has been added to the park’s official Instagram, so don’t miss your chance to use it during your visit!

After a year on hiatus, Universal Studios Japan will be bringing back the daytime parade with the  ‘NO LIMIT! PARADE,’ scheduled to be held for a year starting in Spring 2022.

The ‘NO LIMIT! PARADE’ is like a dance party, unifying each guest as one with the power of dance. The energetic entertainment turns everybody into “the protagonist.”

In addition to well-known 

park characters like the Minions and Hello Kitty, Mario and his Nintendo friends will also be joining the parade from their home in the super popular Super Nintendo World™, bringing some Pokémon buddies along for the ride. The various worlds will collide to a range of party tracks, from 60’s rock to modern EDM, with each character performing a representative dance.

By dancing with these iconic characters and entertainers, everybody can become “The Protagonist” – young or old! The grand finale of each parade truly pushes the meaning of NO LIMITS, with production exceeding all expectations. Each visitor will feel their mind and body growing “Super Energetic” from all the fun with this all-new entertainment experience!

Since opening in March, Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan has caught the world’s attention, leading global game fans to pray even harder for Japan to reopen for tourism. Now, the park is scheduled to level up with a new Donkey Kong-themed area scheduled to open in 2024. 

Currently, Super Nintendo World is filled with Mario-inspired attractions, dining options, and shops, recreating some of the most memorable parts of the franchise in a larger-than-life way. The new Donkey Kong area will feature a roller coaster and more interactive experiences, as well as themed merchandise and food options. Guests will be able to walk through lush jungles, where Donkey Kong and his friends live. The creation of the new area will more than double the size of Super Nintendo World. 

Launched as an arcade game by Nintendo in 1981, Donkey Kong quickly took the world by storm, with games continuing to be released on Nintendo systems from the SNES to the Nintendo Switch. As of March 2021, the series has sold over 65 million units worldwide.

Rain goods brand Wpc. will be opening preorders for their limited edition Super Mario themed collection after it sold out at the PARCO x Super Mario Collaboration Item Fair.

The umbrella, which was released as a limited item at the PARCO x Super Mario Collaboration Item Fair, was released for pre-sale at Wpc.’s Shinsaibashi PARCO store on July 1 and sold out the same day. New Era has announced its first collaboration with the Mother video game series, also known as EarthBound outside Japan. Two hats, one inspired by Ness’s hat from Mother 2, and a ‘SMAAAASH!!’ version, will be released at the Mother no Hiroba pop-up shop at Shibuya PARCO as well as at participating TOCHIBI stores in Japan on July 1.

It has been announced that a new album compiling the in-game event music from Dragalia Lost will be released on June 30, 2021. Dragalia Lost is an action role-playing smartphone game developed by Cygames and published by Nintendo.

The two-disc album features artists such as TAKU INOUE, ANCHOR, SiN, Shūhei Mutsuki, Sekihan, M･A･O, BlooDye, Setsuko (from Kuhaku Gokko), Takayoshi Tanimoto, Shiki Aoki, Megumi Ogata, Hironao Nagayama, and more. The first disc features 16 tracks while the second has 22 instrumental tracks. It also comes with a lyric booklet and 60-page artbook. Each copy of the album is also coupled with an application ticket to receive an in-game item.

DRAGALIA LOST SONG COLLECTION is a must-grab for fans of the game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released for the Nintendo Switch in March last year, and I’m sure many of us who have played it have the soundtrack on repeat in our heads daily. Now fans can get their hands on the game’s official soundtrack which will be released in three versions: the BGM Edition which features the background music, the K.K. Slider Edition which has instrumental versions of all of the K.K.’s songs on it, and the First Press Limited Pressing Edition.
