Masayoshi Oishi has announced the release date for his new EP Gift. Fans can expect to get their hands on it on March 8, 2023, and the song uni-verse will serve as the theme song for the Gridman Universe film coming to theaters on March 24.

Based on the Tsuburaya Productions Gridman live-action tokusatsu series from 1993, the SSSS.GRIDMAN anime series aired in October 2018. A sequel, SSSS.DYNAZENON, followed in April 2021. Characters from both series will appear in the new original film. 

The new EP Gift features seven tracks including Gift, the opening theme song for the anime series The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten and the Azur Lane 5th anniversary song Aoi Hogeki. Be on the lookout for the newly-drawn anime cover!

Ahead of the release of GRIDMAN UNIVERSE, an all-new anime film coming in March, both SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.DYNAZENON will be getting compilation films. These will be perfect for those who want a refresher, or those who never watched the two series!

The SSSS.GRIDMAN compilation film will only be in select theaters for two weeks starting January 20, 2023. The compilation film for SSSS.DYNAZENON will also only be shown for two weeks starting March 10, 2023. Key visuals and trailers for both films have been released.

The SSSS.GRIDMAN compilation film is being directed by Yoshiyuki Kaneko, who served as assistant director on the anime series. The film will show a somewhat new interpretation of the story under this new direction. 

The compilation film for SSSS.DYNAZENON will be directed by Yoshihiro Miyajima, who also served as assistant director for the original anime series.

Those coming to see the films will receive a special illustration card with a voice drama created by Akira Amemiya while supplies last.

Both compilation films will include extra footage leading up to the release of GRIDMAN UNIVERSE on March 24, 2023.

On August 26, a special event will be held that SSSS fans won’t want to miss. ‘SSSS.GRIDMAN x SSSS.DYNAZENON Special Night’ has been announced as a part of Ultra Heroes EXPO 2022 Summer Festival in Ikebukuro Sunshine City! This will be the first joint event between the two series.

From SSSS.GRIDMAN, Hikaru Midorikawa (Gridman) and Yuya Hirose (Yuta Hibiki) will take the stage, while Junya Enoki (Yomogi Asanaka) from SSSS.DYNAZENON will also appear. Gridman and Dynazenon will also be on display.

Tickets will go on sale starting August 13 at 10:00, so don’t miss out if you’re a fan of either series!

In March 2022, the cover song project CrosSing was launched. Amassing instant popularity, tracks featured as part of the project have pulled in millions of views. In addition to popular voice actors Maaya Uchida, Kana Hanazawa, and Akari Kito, the project also included towana, vocalist of popular ani-song unit fhána. 

The cast of the second season of the project has been unveiled. Along with popular voice actors Ayana Taketatsu, Aguri Onishi, and Yu Hayashi, stage actor Ryotaro Akazawa and VTuber Leona Shishigami will also try singing their hearts out!

All of the songs featured in the project are tracks that personally mean something to the cast. Fans are invited to Tweet their predictions about which songs each cast member will sing with the hashtag #CrosSing! Masayoshi Oishi has been chosen to perform the theme song for the upcoming anime series Love After World Domination, scheduled to premiere in April 2022. The new track is a duet with popular voice actress Yukari Tamura, and a preview of the track can be heard in the newest trailer. 

Based on the manga series written by Hiroshi Noda and illustrated by Takahiro Wakamatsu, the show tells the story of a hero and villain pursuing a forbidden love.

Masayoshi Oishi has also announced a three-stop concert tour! The artist will perform at Zepp Namba on May 6, at Zepp Nagoya on June 9, and at KT Zepp Yokohama on June 17. Ticket details will be announced on the official website at a later date. This will be the first solo concert for the artist in about eight months.

The next project in the SSSS.Gridman universe will be GRIDMAN x DYNAZENON, a crossover feature film coming soon from Studio Trigger. The announcement was made on December 13. 

Studio Trigger launched the new Gridman Universe with SSSS.Gridman, which was loosely based on the 1993-94 tokusatsu drama series Gridman the Hyper Agent by Tsuburaya Productions. SSSS.Dynazenon, a sequel, aired in 2021.

The director for both anime series Akira Amemiya will be returning to direct the upcoming film. The script will be written by Keiichi Hasegawa, while the character designs will be provided by Masaru Sakamoto. Music will be written by Shiro Sagisu. 

While the title has not been announced and details are still scarce, expectations are already incredibly eye. Keep an eye out for more information!

SSSS.DYNAZENON‘s second promotional video and a new key visual were showcased at Tokyo Comicon 2020 revealing new staff, cast, characters, and an April 2021 release date.

The second promotional video features music by Japanese composer Shirō Sagisu who is composing the soundtrack for the anime series. Check it out below.

Ten new cast members have been added to the roster. We will see Hiroshi Kamiya as Jyuga, Yūma Uchida as Onijya, Ayaka Suwa as Mujina, Kouki Uchiyama as Shizumu Mariya Ise as Inamoto, Azusa Tadokoro as Mei, Jin Ogasawara as Awaki, Gakuto Kajiwara as Nazumi, Rio Tsuchiya as Ranka, and Hikaru Tohno as Kaneishi.

SSSS.DYNAZENON was announced last year as a continuation of SSSS.GRIDMAN. and is being co-made by Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions. Both series make up part of the “GRIDMAN UNIVERSE.”

If you’ve yet to see SSSS.GRIDMAN, you can catch all 12 episodes on Crunchyroll. The Blu-ray will be released in Japan on February 17, 2021.

A new key visual and promotional video have been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Dragon Goes House-Hunting, the fantasy manga series written by Kawo Tanuki and illustrated by Choco Aya.

The key visual centers on the main characters: the timid young red dragon Letty, the powerful elf demon and real-estate agent Dearia, the baby bird Pip, and the human princess Nell, all of whom are cheerful and content sat in a sunny field.

The new promotional video shows Letty and Dearia set out on a journey to find Letty a new home, and the eventful adventures and unique characters that await them along the way.

The main cast includes Shun Horie (Kazuya Kinoshita in Rent-A-Girlfriend; Enta Jinnai in Sarazanmai) as Letty, Kaito Ishikawa (Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia; Nero in Devil May Cry) as Dearia, Shiori Izawa (Nanachi in Made in Abyss; Kanata Ubuyashiki in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Pip, and Misato Sakuragi (Himiko Toga in My Hero Academia; Golden Darkness in To Love Ru) as Nell.

The production staff working on the anime adaptation have also launched a special online ‘salon’ which includes information about anime production, anime advertisement, and more. Those who can read Japanese and are interested in the anime industry find it an insightful read for sure. The salon hopes to foster a community between production staff and users. Registration to the website is now open.

Dragon Goes House-Hunting will being broadcasting from April 2021 in Japan on TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS Fuji.

The long-awaited first promotional video for SSSS.DYNAZENON is finally here. The anime was announced last year as a continuation of SSSS.Gridman. and is being co-made by Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions.

The video showcases the main cast with Daiki Hamano as Gauma, Junya Enoki as Yomogi Asanaka, Shion Wakayama as Yume Minami, Yuichiro Umehara as Koyomi Yamanaka, and Chika Anzai as Chise Asukagawa. The music is by Shirō Sagisu who is composing the anime’s soundtrack.

It was also confirmed in line with the video’s release that the team responsible for the 3D CG graphics in SSSS.GRIDMAN are reprising their roles as staff on the new series.

It has yet to be announced when the new anime project will air, so stay tuned.

Letty is on the road looking for a new house, but finds it no place for a legendary creature like a dragon where dwarves and other mythical creatures want a piece of him. He is joined by an elvish architect on his quest to find a new home.
