Ninjala Season 4 Brings New Weapons, Stage, and More

Season 4 for the Nintendo Switch™ title Ninjala finally dropped on January 7, 2021.

In the colourful world of Ninjala, players blow bubble gum to craft different weapons and fight using the fighting style of ninjutsu. Players can also transform into nearby objects, and they must use parkour to traverse different landscapes while aiming to take down their opponents. Released on June 25 this year, the game has been downloaded over 5 million times.

 

Season 4 brings a new wintery theme with plenty of avatar items for players to enjoy. It also introduces two new weapons—the Scrap Saber and Chewing V—as well as a new stage called Fort Riverdale that features a gorgeous clock tower that glows beautifully against the night sky.

 

Adjustments have also been made to make battles smoother like shortened loading times, various UI improvements have been implemented, and new features have been added such as Ninjala Collection Cards.


A new episode of the Ninjala 2D Cartoon Anime entitled You’re the Star! was released on PlayNinjala’s official YouTube channel last Thursday (January 7) which can be enjoyed in English above.

The series first began in January, and Kyary’s song Maybe Baby has been used as the theme thus far.    A teaser for the song’s music video has already appeared on YouTube, featuring a kaleidoscopic new visual with Kyary reflected in a mirror as she shows off some unique choreography.   • Demon Slayer Game to be Released for the Nintendo Switch in June

    Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chroniclesis getting a Nintendo Switch version, with a release date set for June 9 in Japan.   The Demon Slayer manga series, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, has over 150 million copies in circulation, making it the ninth best-selling manga series of all time. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teen who strives to become a demon slayer after his family was killed and his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon. Combining both heartwrenching storytelling with just the right amount of comic relief, the title has amassed fans around the world.   
      Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles was released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 21, and has sold over 1.32 million copious worldwide. It includes a solo mode that follows the Demon Slayer story, and also a Versus Mode, allowing players to fight other characters. In the Nintendo Switch version, players can choose from a total of 24 characters to fight, including six demons added in previous free updates. By using Kimetsu Points, players can unlock characters and costumes, including the Summer School Uniform which will be a Switch exclusive.     Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s new song Maybe Baby has been officially released on streaming services! The track will be used as the opening theme song for the Ninjala anime series.       The opening video for the anime series is also available on Kyary’s official YouTube channel. To celebrate the release, LINE MUSIC is holding a playback campaign until January 22, 2022. The top 50 listeners will receive a Maybe Baby neck strap that is not for sale and was made exclusively for this event.  
  • GARNiDELiA Provides Theme for Soukai Tenki Nintendo Switch Game

    Musical duo GARNiDELiA will perform the theme song Souten for the upcoming Nintendo Switch title Soukai Tenki, scheduled to be released in 2022. The song was also used in the recent Soukai Tenki stage play.    Soukai Tenki is an adventure game with character designs by Teita and a scenario by Yuumi Yamada. The title is listed as a mixed-media project by Otomate, Toho Animation, and Plus81.    In November 2021, GARNiDELiA released their new album ‘Duality Code.’ The duo is currently participating in a nationwide tour.

  • Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s Song ‘Maybe Baby’ Announced as Theme for ‘Ninjala’ Anime Series

    Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has announced that her new song Maybe Baby will serve as the opening theme song for the winter anime series Ninjala, set to begin airing on January 8, 2022. The singer is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her major debut in 2021, and Maybe Baby was featured on her newest album Candy Racer released in October.   Online Fan Meetup   The anime series is based on GungHo Online Entertainment’s action video game for the Nintendo Switch. In the past, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has collaborated with the game, providing her songs Gum Gum Girl and Ninja Re Bang Bang Steve Aoki Remix Maybe Baby was written by Yasutaka Nakata and is a danceable track featuring Kyary’s light vocals and a catchy beat that will make anyone want to move.  An online fan meetup will also take place on December 18 and will be held exclusively for members of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s official fan club, KPP CLUB. While last year’s ‘KPP ONLINE MEETUP VOL.1’ was a large online event with about 500 fans in attendance, this time it will be held in small groups of about 25 for multiple periods.  During the meetup, Kyary will give away many of her personal belongings that she has used in the past. Fans of the singer won’t want to miss out! To commemorate 10 years of the singer’s career, members of the Fanclub will also get some new benefits and privileges including behind-the-scenes vlogs.  Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will start her 10th Anniversary Japan Tour on January 16. This will be the largest tour in the singer’s history, and fan club members can enjoy special passes and photo spots.
