This article is based on the blog, 和ごころLA (Wagokoro LA) which is about sightseeing in LA and the American way of livings.
This is a report about the popular café, “RING -BAKED TOFU DONUTS-“ which uses tofu made by a Japanese-tofu maker.
RING -BAKED TOFU DONUTS- is located near Woodmanhills mall. There are terraced seats and two eat-in seats in the store.
You can eat and relax in the cafe or take out some donuts for breakfast or lunch.
You will find many kinds of donuts next to the cash register. “Tree” is the central theme of the interior design and there are a lot of Totoro items!
I ordered a Sea salt coffe and a Matcha Donuts.
Matcha donut is my favorite taste. The gentle sweet taste and the fluffy texture of the donuts are a perfect match! Donuts are the main food in this store but their coffee is also good.
Their donuts are not too sweet so it’s suitable for breakfast. You can buy some as a souvenir and freeze them. They will keep for 1 week in the fridge and for 1 month in a freezer. When you want to eat them just pop them in the microwave and in 15 seconds you will have a fresh-tasting donut.

RING -BAKED TOFU DONUTS- all ingredients are locally produced and organic and made by Japanese persons.
The tofu and soymilk they use comes from the Japanese-tofu maker, “MEIJI TOFU.” It makes these donuts fluffy and chewy.
The cute-looking inside design of the café is perfect for your Instagram!
It ‘s a bit far from downtown LA but delivery service is available so you can use them at wedding parties, birthday parties or at other events!
This shop is attracting the attention from various medias. You should go and check it out!
