Pre-registration for the upcoming Haikyu!! mobile game began on November 8! Haikyu!! TOUCH THE DREAM is scheduled to launch this winter, and the first trailer has been released on the title’s official Twitter page (@haikyu_haidori). 

What is Haikyu!! TOUCH THE DREAM?

Haikyu!! TOUCH THE DREAM is a fully-realized smartphone game for iOS and Android devices based on the globally-popular anime and manga series Haikyu!! Popular characters from the series appear in the title and players can form their dream volleyball team to take the top spot in the rankings!

Azur Lane has become a popular mobile game worldwide, and to celebrate its continued success, Pony Canyon will release a 1/7 scale figure of the character Noshiro in 2023. Preorders will open simultaneously worldwide on September 8, 2022 at 11:00.

Noshiro has been a popular character since the game was released, ranking highly in the 2021 Character Popularity Pill. This will be her first figure, and fans will adore her expression and coloring. Her glossy black hair, powerful eyes, and slender legs are gorgeous, and this large figure will become the focal point of any room. 

Pre-orders are now open in Japan at Pony Canyon’s official online anime shop Canime and Amiami. In addition, Canime will be offering an acrylic stand and Amiami will be offering an A2-sized clear poster as store perks, both of which will be based on original illustrations from the game!

From January 7 until February 24, 2022, two Capcom Cafe locations will hold a special collaboration event featuring menu items and goods from the popular anime and manga series Haikyu!! The menu items have been announced, and the Capcom Cafe Aeon Lake Town in Saitama and the Capcom Cafe Ikebukuro locations will be posting more information on their official sites, so fans should be sure to check them out!

Popular jeans shop Right-On has teamed up with the anime and manga series Haikyu!! for a new collaboration. Apparel preorders are open until December 19, and select Right-On stores will begin selling the new merch on December 27, 2021.

This is the second collaboration between the two. The first round of merch was only available online and included hoodies and sweatshirts showing off popular scenes from the series.

The concept for this project is ‘personal clothes for a day off,’ and each character from the Haikyu!! series is shown wearing the new merch in illustrations on the official website. Fans of the series can grab the same top their favorite character is rocking, making this a can’t-miss for Haikyu otaku. 

In addition to apparel, acrylic coasters and desktop calendars featuring the characters in their new outfits will be available during the sales period. Those making a purchase will also snag an original sticker.

In 2022, pop-up stores selling apparel and merch will open in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya for a limited time.

In the newly drawn concept image for the event, the members of the Karasuno High and Inarizaki High volleyball teams are seen during a trip to Kyoto, where they meet at the Toei Kyoto Studio Park. Fans can see their favorite characters dressed in Shinsengumi happi coats, buying souvenirs, eating, drinking, and enjoying their hard-earned day off. There will be a Haikyu!! exhibition at the park, a footbath, special goods and food items, as well as a running collaboration train.

BANPRESTO are set two release two new realistic figures of Takemichi Hanagaki and Mikey from the anime series Tokyo Revengers in July and August respectively at game centres in Japan.

The figures are detailed recreations of the two characters which look like they’ve jumped straight out of the anime. Everything from the facial expressions to the poses, winkles in their uniforms, and hair have been crafted with careful consideration. BANPRESTO describes the figures as being the same size “as the characters’ heads” from the anime series, so they sound pretty tall, and will make fine additions to any figure collection.

BANPRESTO is also releasing a collection of nine large-sized Tokyo Revengers towels over the next three weeks. The towels are 82cm x 50cm, so can be used for decoration as well as after you get done out the bath or shower.

Finally, the new line-up includes a series of plush toys too featuring chibi versions of the characters – perfect for hanging on your bag. All of these items are rolling out at game centres across Japan.

Sarutahiko Coffee reached its 10-year milestone on June 8. To celebrate, the Japanese coffee chain launched a 10 year anniversary promotion on the same day.

The coffee giant released its 10th Anniversary Mocha No.1 Blend and 10th Anniversary Mocha No.1 Superior Java Blend for its first rollout of the promotion. For its second release, Sarutahiko is teaming up with MEDICOM TOY’s popular BE@RBRICK figure series to release an original model at its Ebisu and The Bridge Harajuku Station branches as well as its online store.

The palm-sized figure is coloured Sarutahiko’s iconic blue colour and features a brown logo on its chest. It’s a simple but cute design and is a perfect gift to coffee lovers.
