Hololive Production has announced five new members to debut under the new English-speaking VTuber group Hololive English -Council- on August 17 2021.

The five new members are Tsukumo Sana, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei, and Hakos Baelz. This special video was released to promote Hololive English -Council- on August 1.
The members’ Twitter accounts and YouTube channels have been opened, with activities starting soon. The first YouTube stream is scheduled to start on August 22 JST in a relay format.
A special preview video has been released to coincide with the announcement, shown in a story-based narrative for viewers to enjoy while they wait for the members’ debut streams.
The five members will be collaborating after their debut, so don’t miss it!

A member of the Council and the Speaker of “Space,” the first concept as created by the Gods.
After materializing on earth, Sana began searching for answers within astrology only to discover the Forbidden Truth, becoming an apostle of the Ancient Ones.
“Space” doesn’t just refer to the universe, but all dimensions and matter to exist. It is an endless concept, one that continues to expand eternally. Because of this, many of her actions cannot be explained by humans. However, to this she replies “Humanity just isn’t ready to understand,” contrasting her childli…. youthful appearance.

Ceres Fauna （セレス・ファウナ）
A member of the Council and the Keeper of “Nature,” the second concept as created by the Gods.
She has manifested on earth as a Druid in order to save nature.
Fauna has Kirin blood flowing through her veins and horns. However, those horns are not those of a deer, instead made from the branches of a certain tree.
“Nature” refers to all organic matter on the planet excluding mankind.
It is told that her whispers, as Mother Nature, are filled with healing properties. Whether or not that is true is something only those who have heard them can tell.
While she is usually friendly, calm, and a little mischievous, those who oppose her will feel the wrath of nature.

Ouro Kronii （オーロ・クロニー）
A member of the Council and the Warden of “Time,” the concept as created by the Gods.
To humans, this is the most distorted concept. It was by chance that she picked up the blade, but she found herself enjoying it. Humans cannot escape “Time” and very few humans even wish to be released from her prison.
Originally, the role of “Time” was to act as a cog between the other concepts. However, eventually, humans gave “Time” its own meanings with the sunrise and sunset, becoming trapped and empowering her.
While her quiet and cool personality is unchanged, she has since become prideful and sadistic over her prisoners.

Nanashi Mumei （七詩ムメイ）
A member of the Council and the Guardian of “Civilization,” a concept created by humanity.
She is a wise and skilled traveller who has seen, heard, and experienced so much that she wound up forgetting even her own name.
She was born from human will, separating her from the council members and other life forms.
“Civilization” is a man-made lifeform that demands wisdom. As Mumei was not created by the Gods, she was free to choose her own form, basing her appearance on the owl, an animal humans feel represents knowledge.
She is kind, wise, and hardworking, although her aura is said to be mysterious and somewhat pitiful. She claims to have felt lonely throughout her many years of travelling, making herself a friend out of the material that drove the development of civilization and mankind – paper.

Hakos Baelz（ハコス・ベールズ）
A member of the Council and the Guardian of “Chaos,” a concept created by the world.
She is the chairperson of the Council as commanded by the Gods, based on liberalism. However, both Baelz and the other members are truly convinced of her position, only obeying the Gods’ will. You mustn’t underestimate her mouse-like appearance, as mice are in fact known as harbingers of “Chaos.”
“Chaos” can be wild, fortunus, or even represent freedom.
With her dazzling grin, Baelz is never one to sit still, instead running around freely. She disagrees that rules are everything, descending upon the world with the intention of breaking them all.
She takes greatest pleasure in watching the aftermath of her destruction, often choosing to observe from the outside.

The rookie vocal VTuber group ester eight released their fifth pre-release single BUZZ on all major streaming services on February 22.
Written, composed, and arranged by Hi-ra, the track is a highly danceable song blending J-pop and EDM, revealing a new side of the up-and-coming group.
ester eight will soon make its major label debut. The song is a means to increase their buzz before moving on to the next stage of their careers.

VERSEⁿ is a VTuber project that travels through various stories. Through cross-media content such as live streaming, anime, music, illustrations, novels, and manga, the project aims to weave a story of the past, present, and future of the VERSEⁿ world together for fans.
Late last year, VTuber Kashi Otoha announced during a live broadcast that a new song was in production to commemorate her 100,000th subscriber.
Otoha’s new single Signal will be released digitally on February 15. The track was composed and written by Uztama, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter and composer.
An iTunes download campaign is also underway to commemorate the song’s release. Those who preorder Signal on iTunes between February 8 and February 14 will receive an original standby screen image with a comment from Kashi Otoha herself.

Hoshimachi Suisei, a popular member of the Hololive VTuber group, released her long-awaited second album Specter on January 25, 2023. The album is available for purchase on CD and digitally.
On January 20, Suisei performed her song Stellar Stellar on the YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE, making her the first VTuber to do so. The video trended worldwide, pulling in over 160,000 views during its premiere and over 5 million views within three days.

A special version of the Daiginjo Yuki Yatsuki, a tasty sake, is coming soon. The beverage is being developed as part of Lamy’s Sake Making Project by Yukihana Lamy, a VTuber belonging to the Hololive, along with Meiri Shurui, a sake brewery in Ibaraki Prefecture. The sake will go on sale at Meiri Shurui's website starting December 16 at 17:00. This special version of the sake was made to celebrate the company’s Bronze Medal at the IWC 2022. The rice used is Yamada Nishiki and Miyasaka with a polish ratio of 48%, and the M310 yeast helps express a light and easy-drinking flavor while maintaining a fruity aroma.
