Tomohisa Yamashita will make his first appearance on the cover of the May issue of Numero Tokyo, on sale on March 28, 2022. Yamashita will appear in a special insert as well, which includes 24 pages exploring the singer’s appeal.
Tomohisa Yamashita, known to many as Yamapi or Tomo, is a singer, actor, and television host. Recently, he starred in the film The Man from Toronto and the TV series Drops of God. He is also an ambassador for the Dior beauty brand. “I’ve been extremely busy for the past year and a half, but I had made up my mind. I wanted to keep going for at least two years, or until I collapsed from exhaustion. I was in France for four months and was so incredibly homesick. I cooked for myself overseas, and that single rice cooker was my savior. I lost myself while I was cooking. I love it.” In the magazine interview, Yamashita talks about his busy life as an independent artist and his work in Japan and abroad. He also expresses his gratitude and love towards his fans. “There are very few people I can really open up to, but the fans have always been on my side. They’re an amazing source of free love. Crypton Future Media Inc. will be taking a look back at Hatsune Miku’s world tour series ‘HATSUNE MIKU EXPO’ in a new streaming event on June 5, 2022. Fans from around the world will be able to tune in to ‘HATSUNE MIKU EXPO Rewind,’ featuring tons of past content from the virtual idol’s trips overseas. This will include foreign language songs unique to the world tour. To date, Hatsune Miku has performed a total of 68 concerts in 30 cities around the world, attracting over 190,000 fans. Immediately after the January 2020 Europe tour, the pandemic began, and the subsequent North American tour was canceled. A crowdfunding campaign was launched in Autumn 2020 to bring the singer back, and, as expected, shattered its goal. Now, fans will be able to see the singer virtually yet again after the ‘HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2021 Online’ event was also broadcast globally. Don’t miss the event on June 5!

Hard rock band BAND-MAID will stream a special acoustic concert on Christmas day. The event will be available to watch globally, so don’t worry about missing out! This will be the group’s first attempt at an acoustic performance with no audience and will be pre-recorded. Everything within the stream was created with Christmas in mind, and the audio commentary will have English subtitles. More information detailing tickets and the stream’s start time will be announced soon. The official scorebook for BAND-MAID’s “Unseen World” will also be released on January 31, 2022. In addition to the band’s score for all 13 tracks on the album, the book will include member interviews, special photos, and an instrumental CD of the album.
