From October 22, 2022 until January 15, 2023, the Sumikko Gurashi Studio Park Hide-and-Seek event is happening at Toei Kyoto Studio Park. During the event, guests are tasked with exploring the venue for hidden Sumikko characters. After finding them, they must write down the keywords on a special sheet in order to win a prize. Limited edition collaboration goods and special menu items are now available depicting the characters in traditional kimonos!

Kyoto’s Randen streetcar connects Shijo-Omiya in the center of Kyoto with the sightseeing spots of Arashiyama and Kitanohakubaicho. During the event period, the train will be decorated with Sumikko Gurashi characters, and riders can even grab a special ticket and exclusive ticket case.

Rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN has released the music video for the song SOUVENIR, the second opening theme for the popular anime series Spy x Family. The second cour of the series began airing on October 1.

SOUVENIR is the band’s first new song in about six months and was added to streaming services on September 29. Unsurprisingly, the track has been a hit, performing well on the charts.

The music video was directed by Spikey John, who is working with BUMP OF CHICKEN for the first time. 

Prior to the music video’s release, a fast-paced teaser video shot on a highway was released, and many fans have been anxious to see what the full-length video would look like.

BUMP OF CHICKEN’s new song SOUVENIR has been chosen as the opening song for the second cour of the SPY×FAMILY anime series! New episodes will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other stations starting October 1. 

Tatsuya Endo’s original manga has been serialized in Shonen Jump+ since March 2019 and has won a number of awards, selling over 25 million copies to date. The highly-anticipated second cour of the anime series is only weeks away!

The new trailer features the song SOUVENIR by the popular rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN, which will serve as the opening theme. A terrorist plot is about to begin in an attempt to end the war between east and west, and to prevent this, Loid, Sylvia, and other WISE agents are busy tracking down the bad guys. The trailer is packed with both hilarious and series moments, and fans of the characters are in for a treat when the show returns next month.

The song SOUVENIR will begin streaming on September 29. The jacket design for the release was created by VERDY, who has been working with the band for years. Please keep an eye and an ear out for this welcome addition to the SPYxFAMILY world!

From November 12, 2022, until April 2, 2023, visitors to Lake Sagami Pleasure Forest in Kanagawa Prefecture will be able to enjoy an incredible light-up event featuring Sumikko Gurashi characters! The outdoor resort is only an hour from Tokyo and won’t disappoint.

A World First! Illuminated Sumikko Gurashi Area

Visitors can enjoy riding the 250-meter-long Rainbow Lift for an aerial walk above the millions of lights. The adorable Sumikko Gurashi characters will be waiting for guests in a special themed area.

The event will also offer goods decorated with newly-drawn art inspired by the Lake Sagami lights, with Sumikko and her friends enjoying the show. Along with merchandise, guests will also be invited to sample collaboration food and drinks at the park’s restaurant Wild Dining. Each dish will also come with a bonus!

Come enjoy these incredible lights along with everyone’s favorite Sumikko characters! With 6 million lights on display, this is one of the largest in the Kanto area. More details will be coming soon, so keep an eye out!

Sumikko Gurashi and Tokyo Skytree are teaming up to celebrate a huge milestone! Both are celebrating their 10th anniversary, and guests can come to enjoy a special event from August 10 until November 9, 2022.

From August 6 until August 28, the handmade donut shop Floresta will be offering donuts inspired by characters from Sumikko Gurashi! These adorable treats will be available at Floresta locations and online.

For the first half of the event period, fans will be able to get two adorable donut and donut hole pairings featuring Neko & Zassou and Shirokuma & Furoshiki. During the second half, donut holes shaped like Tonkatsu and Ebifurai no Shippo will be on sale.

The characters of Sumikko Gurashi are celebrating an incredible decade! A 10th-anniversary cafe will open in Tokyo on July 1 and in Osaka on July 22 for a limited time.

Sumikko Gurashi characters have become popular with children and adults alike. Popular Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi characters will be taking over Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Saitama from April 16 until May 22 during the Rilakkuma & Sumikko Gurashi Festival! Guests will be greeted by the characters themselves, and will be able to participate in tons of fun activities, photo spots, and more!

The festival will have a full lineup of exclusive merchandise only available at Tokorozawa Sakura Town, from cute and useful items like clear folders to fans to use during the summer heat.

A limited collaboration menu with Kadokawa Shokudou will also be available during the event.
