On November 19, Nijigen no Mori, an amusement park located on Awaji Island in Hyogo, will begin its fifth collaboration with the popular anime series Demon Slayer. New merchandise, such as acrylic keychains and long-sleeve t-shirts, and menu items will be available, so fans shouldn’t miss their chance to visit!

A limited number of hand warmers with an original illustration of Kyojuro will be given to guests who participate in the Natagumo Mountain Night Walk event after November 19. Don’t let the cold weather stop you from taking part in the festivities!

HELLO KITTY SHOW BOX, a theater and restaurant offering Hello Kitty-themed shows and meals on Awaji Island, and HELLO KITTY APPLE HOUSE, an apple-shaped observation theater based on the popular character’s home, are both currently holding the Apple Halloween 2022 event until October 31!

Started in October, the New Show ‘HELLO KITTY THE PARTIES’ Gets Rave Reviews

HELLO KITTY THE PARTIES, a new show at the theater and restaurant HELLO KITTY SHOW BOX, will run until December 30, 2022. The show features a new theme each month and currently features a jazz band.

October’s theme is Happy Halloween Party, and visitors can listen to a number of famous songs while enjoying tasty and healthy dishes packed with autumn flavors. At the end of the performance, a meet and greet with Hello Kitty will be held. November’s theme will be Hello Kitty’s Birthday Party, while December will focus on a Christmas Party!

Nijigen no Mori, an amusement park located on Awaji Island in Hyogo, has teamed up with the popular anime and manga series Demon Slayer for a special collaboration event. While the event wrapped up at the end of September, due to fan response, it will be extended for a further 87 days starting on October 15. Many fans weren’t able to attend due to the pandemic or due to distance, so this decision was made at the last minute. All guests visiting during the extended period will receive an original postcard as a special gift.

Original merchandise and food items inspired by Demon Slayer characters will be available during the event period, with some merchandise newly-created for the extended period. Check out the official website and Twitter page for the latest information.

Nijigen no Mori x Demon Slayer Collaboration Event Contents

Details: The Nijigen no Mori theme park will be taken over by characters from the popular Demon Slayer franchise, with unique events taking place in the morning and at night. Original food and merchandise will also be available.

① [Nighttime Event] Nijigen no Mori x Demon Slayer ‘Natagumo Mountain Night Walk’

 Participants will go on to experience the world of Demon Slayer on a 1.2 km long walk through the night forest, brought to life by a projection mapping spectacle showing Tanjiro and friends and their battle against the demons.

On the Natagumo Mountain Night Walk, where they become members of the Kakushi and participate in a battle to the death between the characters Tanjiro Kamado and Rui. Those who fulfill their mission will get a special report.

② [Daytime Event] Nijigen no Mori x Demon Slayer Mystery Walk ‘The Flower Falling Village and Scene of Illustions’

Participants will go on a riddle-solving quest in an area with original character panels illustrated by ufotable. Those taking part in the event will receive an original wooden strap as a special gift.

④ Original Collaboration Menu

An original collaboration menu, featuring character-inspired dishes, will be featured at Mori no Terrace, a forest hideaway restaurant within Nijigen no Mori. A food truck will also be open. Guests can enjoy many different treats, including Tanjiro’s Charcoal Stew, a rich black stew inspired by the main character of the series.

Cerulean Tower Tokyo Hotel in Shibuya has begun accepting reservations for collaboration rooms inspired by the British fashion designer Mary Quant. Along with these unique rooms, visitors can also enjoy a Mary Quant exhibition, afternoon tea, and a special non-alcoholic cocktail. 

The Mary Quant Exhibition, the first retrospective exhibition to be held in Japan, will open at Bunkamura The Museum in Shibuya starting November 26, 2022. The exhibition has toured the world, attracting 400,000 visitors in the U.K. Visitors will be treated to the story of Quant, a pioneer of fashion from London in the 1960s. About 100 garments will also be on display.

To commemorate the opening of the exhibition, the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, a staple of Shibuya, will offer a number of Quant-inspired rooms and goodies.

Visitors can choose from two styles of rooms that express Mary Quant’s worldview.

The corner room is decorated with the iconic black and white Big Daisy, while the deluxe room is filled with pink and white flowers. Each room includes a special gift for visitors to take home, such as a cosmetics set and a round bag. The brand is known to represent freedom and originality, and guests are invited to relax and enjoy themselves to the fullest.

The Tour de Ensemble with Mary Quant three-tiered afternoon tea set features scones and other desserts accented with the brand’s signature daisy. Guests can also enjoy a collection of 30 teas. This special set will be available starting on December 1 at the Garden Lounge ZABOU overlooking the Japanese garden on the hotel’s lobby level.

The non-alcoholic Daisy Blooms cocktail is an eye-catching pink drink. Fresh strawberry and raspberry juices, chamomile syrup, and apple juice are blended to create this sparkling drink. Not too sweet and with a refreshing aftertaste, it’s perfect to enjoy with lunch! This beverage will be available at the Garden Kitchen Caramelo on the hotel’s lobby floor. 

In collaboration with the currently-running Van Gogh exhibition, EJ Anime Hotel in Tokorozawa Sakura Town has opened reservations for a Van Gogh collaboration room. 

For those unable to book a room, fear not! An original collaboration dinner menu will be available for non-guests at the hotel’s restaurant Tiam. 

The Van Gogh exhibition collaboration plan is linked to the ongoing exhibition Van Gogh: This Is How I See the World. The interactive digital art exhibition is being held at the nearby Kadokawa Musashino Museum. Collaborative rooms were inspired by Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, and guests will feel as though they have stepped into the painting itself.

Guests can also enjoy music played at the exhibition in their room, and a 150-inch big-screen projector and high-quality sound bar will immerse visitors in Van Gogh-related movies. Guests will also receive an Original Van Gogh Chronological Table as a gift, and a collection of the artist’s works and goods available at the Museum store will also be on display.

For dinner, visitors can enjoy a special culinary experience with a 7-course dinner inspired by Van Gogh’s world at the hotel’s restaurant Tiam.

Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel will be offering a special room and collaboration menu inspired by the popular anime series The Vampire Dies in No Time from September 22 until November 30, 2022. Reservations will open on the hotel’s official website starting September 12 at 1:00 PM. 

The Vampire Dies in No Time follows the hilarious adventures of the vampire Draluc and the vampire hunter Ronaldo. Set in the city of Shin-Yokohama, it makes sense that this collaboration would be taking place!

The concept room, located on an upper floor overlooking the Shin-Yokohama cityscape, is decorated with illustrations of Draluc, Ronaldo, and other characters. The guest-only goods feature newly-drawn illustrations. 

Sweets plates and drinks will be served at the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. Guests can enjoy desserts shaped like Ronaldo’s red hat and Draluc’s ashes, so don’t miss it!

The Naruto and Boruto Ninja Village located at the Nijigen no Mori anime theme park in Hyogo is celebrating its third anniversary! A new event has begun celebrating Sakura’s birthday, and fans of the characters will be able to grab some neat merch.

Those who purchase tickets to this special event will receive a Mission Accomplished Sticker featuring an original, newly-drawn design. The celebration is running until June 30!

The escape game will have park guests running around the park looking for panels with hints on how to progress. For this event, the panels contain keywords and illustrations related to Sakura. Visitors will really have to use their brains to figure out the solution!

Guests will also be able to write congratulatory messages on cherry blossom petal stickers associated with Sakura and stick them to life-size character panels. Original goods featuring characters in original event costumes will be on sale.

Since January 2022, EJ Anime Hotel, an experimental hotel offering rooms in collaboration with various works of anime, comics, and games, has offered a Shirokuma Cafe room at participating Hotel Monterey locations around Japan. The collab is to celebrate the anime series’ 10th anniversary and is also available at Kurumayama Kogen Skypark Hotel in Nagano Prefecture. Due to popularity, the room will be available to book until May 31, 2022. This is the first collaboration room produced by EJ Anime Hotel to be developed for a resort hotel.

This material has been used in the restoration of cultural heritage sites such as Nijo Castle and Ginkaku-ji Temple.
