A large-scale exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the debut of popular manga artist Asumiko Nakamura, who is best known for her BL series “Classmates”, which has sold a total of 1.5 million copies, is currently running at the Niigata City Manga & Anime Information Center until December 12.

The exhibition displays a collection of original artworks selected by Asumiko Nakamura from her past works and valuable artifacts as well as commentary on the works, where visitors can experience the worldview and charms of her works. Also, as a special event to commemorate the closing of the exhibition tour, an online talk event by Nakamura will be held on December 12, so don’t forget to mark your calendar!
