Crispy Cream Doughnut Japan will sell the following three new donuts, “Crispy Cream Premium Otsukimi Usagi,” “Crispy Cream Premium Brulee Grace De Mont Blanc” and “Crispy Cream Premium Maccha (green tea) & Kuromame Kinako (black bean and toasted soybean flour)” as a new item in the series called “Crispy Cream Premium” which can be purchased only at JR Nagoya Takashimaya from the 30th of August, 2017 (Wed) for a limited time offer.

The “Crispy Cream Premium” series is a premium series of cake-like doughnuts which can be purchased only at JR Nagoya Takashimaya. The doughnuts use a lot of whip cream and are decorated. Customers can enjoy the freshly baked doughnuts.

The donuts are decorated with a full moon made of chocolate with a pudding flavor and Japanese silver grass made of caramel chocolate on top of which is a bitter-tasting chocolate which reminds us of a rabbit watching the full moon. A potato cream which has a soft potato flavor is hidden beneath the cute rabbit made with whip cream and piecrust.

“Original Grazed ®” which is the most popular product of Crispy Cream Doughnut is used. The surface of the doughnut is roasted and it contains hot and soft Mont Blanc cream made of Japanese sweet chestnut and bitter tasting caramel sauce. The doughnut is a very “autumn-like” product.

    The new eat-in menu features a range of irresistibles like vegan-friendly avocado toast, homemade granola topped with fresh fruits and Greek yogurt, a selection of sandwiches made with homemade brioche toast, New York-style, pizza, and more.

     

    Takeout options includes all the classics like bread loaves, sweet custard pudding, soft and crispy croissants, and so on.

    There are around 30 baked delights to pick from at The Little BAKERY Tokyo all of which are made using flour from Hokkaido and natural yeast. All items on the menu are made fresh in-house every day, all ingredients from the salt and sugar to the eggs and more are domestic, and all ingredients are sourced sustainably and locally. The bakery also caters to all needs from those with food restrictions and allergies as well as a fantastic vegan menu which replaces animal products like eggs and butter with soy milk and grapeseed oil.

     

    They even sell American-style doughnuts from the doughnut brand GOOD TOWN DOUGHNUTS who are inspired by doughnuts from Brooklyn. There’s around 20-30 to choose from, all colourful and all used with natural ingredients like fruit – none of the bad additives. Of course, there’s vegan doughnuts too, so if you’re struggling to find vegan food in Tokyo, you know where to go.

    One worry in the bakery industry is that of leftover stock. But The Little BAKERY Tokyo has a solution for that: by wrapping up their pastries and baked foods and selling them as ‘DAY OLD BREAD’ on their online shop so nothing goes to waste, something which has received huge praise from people across Japan.

    The pop-up will serve up a special springtime selection of menu items from both brands, with SOUR bringing their refreshing drinks made with fresh fruits and HIGUMA Doughnuts with their high quality ingredients from Hokkaido.

    The Little Twin Stars, also known as Kiki & Lala, are two of the most popular characters by Sanrio, the company known for such iconic faces as Hello Kitty.

    Kiki & Lala are twins who were born on the Star of Compassion. The doughnuts capture the cute duo atop fluffy pink clouds made from strawberry and white chocolate.

  • Catch the Chansey Pokémon Doughnut at Mister Donut This Winter

    Mister Donut Japan revealed last month that it is set to team up with Pokémon this winter with a special campaign starting on November 15. Before then however, from November 13, the doughnut chain will be releasing the “Mister Donut Chansey Christmas-chu Collection” of doughnuts and merchandise.

  • Mister Donut Japan Reveals Limited Edition Pon de Chocolate Doughnuts

    Mister Donuts Japan is releasing five limited-edition doughnuts as part of their Pon de Chocolate series of doughnuts. Three of those flavours will be available from November 6 and the other two from December 26.
