The exhibition will gather rare documents which are the base of Yonebayashi’s irresistible animation expression and precise and beautiful background drawings. The world’s greatest background drawing studio “Debo Gallery” at which Kazuo Oga and Yoji Takeshige work as advisers and background drawings depicted by the art director Tomotaka Kubo will be introduced as well as the model sheets of the characters. It can be said that the exhibition will show the whole picture of the making of the movie which took almost three years to create.

10-Player Virtual Reality Invader Game “ARKINVADERS” Arriving to Laguna Ten Bosch Theme Park in Aichi Prefecture
Lagunasia is a waterpark in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture. On 28 April, the park is bringing a brand-new attraction to visitors: “ARKINVADERS” is the world’s first virtual attraction that will use the floor and walls to virtually create a world like Space Invaders.
Waves of invaders will be virtually rendered onto the floor and walls, and you will use your feet to shoot down blocks.
The visuals will be projected in the digital environment right before your eyes onto the entire wall and floor beneath you to make you feel like you’re really standing there. 10 people can play at a time, so get your friends and family involved and have a blast!
