A new and special pudding for “adults” will be sold from Morozoff which it is famous for its puddings. The product is an elegant and rich product which suits the autumn well.

 “Kyo no Zeitaku na Maccha Pudding” uses Uji Maccha produced in Kyoto which is blended with “Samidori Maccha” which has a strong flavor. The rich sauce made with condensed milk adds a rich flavor to the product. The sauce is made with Uji Maccha which has a soft bitterness and rich flavor (ground with grindstone) and azuki beans produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido which has a natural sweetness. We recommend breaking a “monaka” (a dessert that has sweet bean paste inside) and putting it on the top of the pudding. You can then enjoy the harmony between the monaka and maccha.

  • Pudding Specialty Store ‘My Pudding Diner’ Opens in Namba, Osaka

    My Pudding Diner, a store specializing in pudding and other products using Osaka’s famous mixed juice, has officially opened in Namba! Initially opened in April 2021 as both a shop and cafe, these spaces will now be separated to deliver delicious pudding to even more people.

     

    Due to the pandemic, many schools across Japan were closed, and a large amount of milk meant to be used in school lunches had nowhere to go. The owner of My Pudding Dinner partnered with a vendor to put this milk to good use–to create these delicious homemade puddings!

     

    At My Pudding Diner, guests can enjoy a variety of Osaka Mixed Juice Puddings. After opening, 3,000 puddings were sold in two days. A second store, primarily used as a manufacturing facility, opened in summer 2021 and continues to sell 1,000 puddings a day.

    Yamamasa Koyamaen is a Kyoto institution, cultivating and grinding matcha tea leaves for 160 years. Seasonal drinks will also be making an appearance, including shaved ice in summer and chocolate drinks in winter. 

     

    The name MATCHA SHOT packs a punch, using matcha instead of espresso for a needed pick-me-up. MATCHA WATER, a refreshing cup of watered-down tea, offers a way to fully enjoy the fullness and more hidden flavors of this popular Japanese tea.
