26.November.2017 | SPOT

Let’s take a look at some of the popular illumination events happening in Tokyo this year – in Shibuya, Omotesando and Meguro.

The “Blue Grotto” (Ao no Dokotsu) illuminations will stretch from Shibuya Koen-dori all the way to Yoyogi Park Keyaki-Namaki. The romantic illuminations will feature lights changing at random, lights flickering and blinking, and lights that turn sequentially starting from the back of Keyaki-michi. The twinkling lights will shine onto a reflection mat laid on floor to recreate the famous “Blue Grotto” sea cave located in Italy.

And in collaboration with Yoyogi Park, “Ao no Dokotsu Blue Parks” will open for a limited period of time where you can enjoy an array of drinks including coffee and hot wine for the cold night, as well as a special “Ao no Dokotsu” pasta bolognaise.
