TIROL-CHOCO CO. LTD opened their store “Shop Tirol Choco” in Akihabara, Tokyo on March 12.
Tirol Choco are cheap chocolates sold in Japan (anime fans will know them by the name ‘dagashi’). At a time when chocolate was still expensive back in the ‘60s, it is said that Tirol Choco began sales for children to be able to buy chocolate with small change at an affordable price – for just \10. There’s a variety of different flavours, and they are popular with both kids and adults.
The newly-opened Shop Tirol Choco is stocked with collaborative drinks, ice creams and even curry, as well as miscellaneous bits, products limited to certain regions of Japan and more. It’s an outlet filled with cheap, affordable goodies.
If you’re heading to Akihabara, then make sure to drop by and pick up some Dagashi Kashi!
